Oy Vey! Chad Green. A Boner special. For crying out loud. Puts runner on with HBP.
I’d still have somebody ready in the pen.
 
Why do I have a bad feeling? That ball was smashed but Gardner caught it.
Green has nothing but fastballs, straight as an arrow.......not good.

I’m making myself a drink. Tenuous pitching causes me to imbibe.......heavily!
And Green is the ticket.

Rays crushed Dodgers 8 - 1. Toronto just tied BoSux bot 9th 4 - 4.
 
O’s tactic from this game is to pitch Yankee players close & tight and sometimes behind them.......
premise......do not make them feel comfortable at the plate.
 
A Boner special.....this game. Bringing in Chad Green. Hits a batter. Outs are smashed.
Now we get The Criminal. Throwing everywhere but over the plate!
 
The Criminal is one pitch away from a tying HR or one strike away from an out!
 
It was not pretty but a W is a W......and we keep those Rays at bay.
 
After game news .....CC’s knees “are barking” which analysts state was reason for a shaky 5th inning.
I do not buy this crap. Why keep him in if CC is hurting? Boner, you are one glorified schmuck!
 
So, look for CC to go on the IL. Cannot watch this manager talk about injuries & the game.
He is only happy when players hit ball out of the ball park. He is “ clueless”.
 
Let me get this straight. The manager knows his pitcher has knee problems. Tonight’s 5th inning
he should have taken CC out of the game, instead he kept him in.......now there is a strong possibility
CC goes on the IL. What a f’king joke. That would put 3 starters on the IL not to mention Montgomery.

Incompetence can really destroy a roster!

Its called giving your pitcher respect. Cc is getting closer and closer to 250 career wins. Sometimes you manage in game thinking 162 game season..other times you think...give the old vet a long leash ...he has earned that right.

When you have pitched for as lomg as he has for the team...yes you give him a llmg leash...especially with a strong bullpen..

It's how a manager wins over his players
