I’m still not sure why Judge gives up the ENTIRE lower left side of the plate. Crowd the plate, force them to throw it where you want it and hit the ball. Just asinine that he gives up low and away and hasn’t adjusted to it and every pitcher eats him up there. I get that he’s a big guy and probably can’t get around on the inside pitch, but Jesus, at least make them pitch it inside.

I just think he’s a guy that wilts under the pressure of NY. Some guys can’t take getting booed when you play like shit and being destroyed in the headlines. Let’s be serious, coming from Seattle to NY is a HUGE difference. In Seattle no one gives a fuck if you win or lose, have a few bad games etc., but it’s the complete opposite here in NY. I mean, even Randy Johnson couldn’t deal with the media scrutiny here. Not everyone can cut it here. I’m hoping that eventually Paxton’s balls will arrive from Seattle. If not, he’s going to be useless to us. Can’t have starters throwing 3-4 innings max in the playoffs every time out. That will spell doom eventually. Might get away with it for a few games, but overall it won’t work.
