Well, I guess the grass wasn't greener.
If Aldridge did come back, what would be the size of mea culpa that would be required?
But he's close to his family. I don't understand.
Even as someone who didn't outright hate Aldridge despite what he did, I admit this is making me happy.
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
A league source told the Express-News that Portland Trail Blazers would execute a trade for Aldridge to reunite him with star Damian Lillard. Aldridge, who played nine seasons in Portland, but left the Blazers in 2015 to sign with the Spurs. The Blazers haven’t closed the door completely on a possible return. The team would be willing to complete a trade for Aldridge for matching salary only, according to a league source.

I wouldn't mind having him back for a good price. But then again im not really the jersey-burning type. You have to remember he's an NBA basketball player, not a Portland Trailblazers superfan. Wanting to go play in his own hometown isn't exactly blasphemy.

why? If he wouldn't change/be happy in San Antonio, why would he here??
Just saw on Twitter, your team is talking to the Spurs for Aldridge. Wow
I'd take him back for a 6-month rental if the cost is only Turner+Meyers. I think his play in Portland would revert to form & then I'd trade him to Orlando or Sacramento for something.
Yay for 42% jump shots and statuesque defense!!I'd take him back for a 6-month rental if the cost is only Turner+Meyers. I think his play in Portland would revert to form...
