Notice Young: Blazers “Would Execute a Trade For Aldridge,” Per Source

Welcome to our community

Fat LaMarcus might very well be our next Fat Shawn Kemp.

Does that not excite you!?!

Didn't see this thread when I posted this in another thread. I would laugh if LA gets traded to a scrub lotto team!

Wonder what Dame and CJ would say behind closed doors about bringing LA back.

Probably something like:

Dame: "So LA is back..."

CJ: "Yeah, its seems that is the case."

D: "Terry better not go back to giving him the ball 70% of the time..."

C: "I know, I'll end up on the bench again if that happens."

*LA walks in*

LA: "Hey guys, ya know I heard y'all talkin... ya know I don't like that... ya know I have more all star appearances than both of you ya know! So ya know bow down ya know."

*Nurk and Papa Nurk run in*

NandPN: "Who is big Pussy in room?"

Okay I find this funny.
The way Aldridge is being used by Pop is the exact same way Stotts tried to use him in his first year here.
A Dirk style.
Which was immediately changed in a sit-down meeting because Aldridge was unhappy with elbow-extended touches for the majority of his touches.

Come on I can't be the only one who saw this coming. Aldridge is supposed to be surrounded by people who see shit like this.
He signed with the Spurs knowing full well how he'd be used, now he's upset.

BTW anyone who says Aldridge declined tremendously might be right or wrong.
However against OKC in 15-16 he put up huge numbers in the first few games.
He also continued to be a thorn in the Rockettes side this year.
He's in decline, but the majority of his stats this year match his 12-13 stats.

He hasn't declined at all - he was just never that good to begin with. He's the same as he ever was - it just took putting him in the best system to show more people that he's a net-zero player.

But you have eyes and a brain. From what we can discern the man hasn't changed.

Those same eyes and brain saw a tweet from CJ where he seemingly came to LA's defense..... I have more faith in that tweet than my own perception of LA, which mostly comes through tainted media.

CJ is smart, he's going to play Mr nice guy rather than bash another player in the league. It's not even about Lamarcus, it's about not coming across as a person who talks down on others.

I will say that LA must have learned some things playing for SA which could contribute to success for himself and the team if he were to be a Blazer again.

Theoretically, if we traded Lillard for Aldridge, there'd be no tension.
