Nobody "ran him off". He ran himself off because he was either too myopic to see or too stubborn to admit that using gay as a pejorative in this day and age is inherently offensive, and couldn't handle being in the minority of his viewpoint.

If someone wants to stubbornly hold to minority viewpoint, they absolutely have the right to do so, but they shouldn't expect those who disagree to kowtow to them. There are many subjects on which I know I'd be far in the minority on this forum, and I know better than to try to engage the mob.

Anyone looking for a fight will find one. He was, and did, and eventually ran away.

Oh look I am back. Like I was really serious about going away after going in circles for a couple hours. I had work now here I am! I am gonna explain this one last time. So there seems to be at least 4 people that were constantly replying to me all upset over it with a couple jumping in here and there. Well, I think you are hypocrites and I worry for you. Maybe in fact it is you who is out of touch with the world because a lot of people do the same thing. These are words. Yes, words have power but only if you give them it. Words affect everybody differently. This isn't a hard concept to understand. There are gay people I have seen totally embrace the word gay and faggot and actually like to tell you how much of a fag they are or whatever. Look at Milo for an example. He called his tour the dangerous faggot tour. You know, the guy who was gonna speak at Berkeley but since they are against free speech like some here and can't just agree to disagree they all destroyed their school and city. This is classic mob mentality. You will gladly gang up on somebody even if it's to repeat yourselves a million times than address my points. Dviss is for sure one of those people. He has said some sideways racist shit about white people in the OT section but nobody cared because he is black so he can get away with it and he only addresses me when the mob mentality is going on.

I don't know if anybody will believe this but some people actually have a sense of humor. Not everything is so serious. I would understand if I used the word gay or faggot to hurt people but I don't. I have actually never even jokingly said it on the forum, try and find where I have in the past and that right there shows you I don't even use it publicly, I use it to close friends within a closed setting and people like to make their comments in here and assumptions about my group of friends and how ignorant I must be. I keep my circle pretty small and can tell you these are good people who also wouldn't say shit to intentionally hurt people or gays for that matter. Like I said one of them is gay herself. I was close with her before she came out, she came out and also is one of those gays who doesn't mind being called gay or faggot. Doesn't mean I do it because I don't. Doesn't feel right but if I did jokingly here and there I know for a fact she wouldn't have an issue because I know her. It's crazy how some of you grab your pitch forks when you can and go after somebody for the most tiny issue but I don't expect less from people who live in the city and are totally separated from reality or maybe you just think you are being progressive. No, you are trying to police words and make up shit you think is unacceptable and try to run other peoples shit. These words aren't anybody's words. Anybody can use them, you can't tell me what my intent using them is because I know my intent and it's fucking weird you wanna claim you know how I use it. I would actually like to peek into your personal lives and see what kind of vile shit you guys actually say but unfortunately I can't do it and instead you hide behind your virtue signaling ways.

You're continuously arguing against statements that were never actually said. You don't really understand their point, and your arguments show that. When you have a decent amount of society that tosses the words "gay" and "faggot" around as synonyms for stupid, it creates a societorial tolerance for it. This means that other people (especially kids) will think its acceptable and do the same. Its a chain reaction, where even though you only use it in a closed setting not everyone in that closed setting will. The more and more people joke like that, the more people will seriously use those words in a derogatory way. The result is a group of people who feel oppressed because society uses their kind as a synonym for stupid. Just because one part of the gay community isn't bothered by it, doesnt mean its wrong for the other part to be affected. You say words affect everyone differently, but you only bring up gay friends that are NOT opposed to your word choice, while remaining willfully ignorant to those that may be bothered and offended (whether it be directly or indirectly). This, combined with other societorial norms that are oppressive to gay people have a big and stressful impact on their lives, and its perpetrated by the part of society that uses those words the way you do.

That's the best I can explain what everyone's been trying to tell you. If you don't understand what I'm saying then you won't understand anyone else. You're calling out Dviss as saying racist shit, but that wasn't his intention. However, its fair to take it that way so he should measure his words better next time. You complaining about how you perceive his words as racist and offensive makes you extremely hypocritical because you're complaining about people doing the same thing when it comes to your use of "gay" and "faggot".

You're coming across as very socially unaware, and this isn't the first time.
 
Womens studies is a complete known joke. It's all about feminism when we all know modern day feminism is not for equality at all, womens studies also talks about how the whole idea of genders is a social construct which is completely insane. Anybody with common sense knows this stuff. That's why it kinda derails bonesjones whole sjw argument here. You can't claim you aren't an sjw or "progressive" and also mentioning going and taking a womens study class. For what? what do womens studies and gays have to do with one another? it's just more illogical bullshit
