Zo coming back to the Nets?

Espn news just said that coach Lawerence Franks said that Zo will be coming back to the Nets in one capacity or another. He didnt say if it would be as a player or not. but by the sound of his statement the door is open to that possiblity. I doubt it.but remember Sean Elliot can back from the same type of transplant. Its more likely that Zo would return as an assistant coach, which would still be help the Nets. Zo could work with the Nets bigmen A.Will, JC, & K-mart on their post games. If Zo could help Jason Collins' post game to the point that JC becomes a repectable offensive center, this would really benefit the Nets. I know JC will never average 15 or 20 ppg. but if he could get the Nets 10ppg & a double-double once in awhile, that would give us a center option we havent had since todd MacCulloch(somewhat).Zo returning to the team in ant capacity will really benefit the Nets. I guess we will find out in the up coming weeks, when Zo will return? & exactly what will he do when he does return? but I cant wait.

K-mart still needs alot of work on his back to the basket game. And the thing that made Zo, so special is that he learned to shoot the mid range shot by working with Patrick Ewing. So maybe he can teach K-mart or at least help him out with that as well.

This is a very nice, and classy, move on the part of the Nets. I like it, and I bet Alonzo does too. He might not be happy not being able to play, but I'm sure being close to the game is better than nothing for him.

If he can't do it on the court as a player.. Why not as a coach... It makes a ton of sense.. I am sure Zo would love to do something like coach the Nets Big Guys.. If he still has a passion for Basketball, Coaching would be his best option..

Either that or a trainer of some sort. He's a nice guy and all, but it'd be nice to have him free or such pressure and controversies. I think your suggestion is great idea though. A coach, I'd rather have him as an assisstant or trainer though. He'll be great support either way. Great news! Thanks for sharing Henacy!
