Zombies are rude!

The Zombie Apocalyse Run is a set up and Zombies don't give extra points for being polite. At the start they go "fast runners in front slow runners in back". I know I'm slower than molasses so I cooperate, no problem. So the pumpkin cannon goes off. The people in the front start running and all the slow runners ARE BUNCHED UP IN THE BACK bottle necked at the gate. My "2 minute headstart" managed to get me about a football field out before the zombie cannon went off. Next the helicopter flies over and warns us chaser zombies have been spotted. Needless to say I survived approximately 1 minute before a 7 foot tall 24 year old male zombie got me. And his little friend the 6 1/2 foot tall 24 year old male zombie got the other flag. No extra points for being polite AT ALL. All I can say is that I'm glad they're both undead, they deserve it!

I'm mad! I got my brains eaten and next year, given that I am now a zombie, people are going down.

There's prizes for the top three survivors, top three zombies, and zombie with the most flags. And prizes for best costume, etc. Got some pretty good swag for prizes. Gift certificates to Red Mill, Just Fruit Bars, running shoes from Road Runner. Good food and live band after the run.

People who signed up as Survivors got a shirt that says, "Zombies don't like fast food" and the Zombies got shirts saying "I'm here for the buffet!".

And also there was beer.
