Listen, if POR wants a repeat of the pathetic 2011 draft or the 2010 draft or the 2009 draft then by all means pick guys like Leonard\Zeller\Marshall\Lillard...Just don't cry 3 years from ow when those guys fucking suck and players taken around\after them are excelling for other teams....

I really hope that Olshey is not that stupid....

Dude, quit fucking acting like just because you don't like a certain player that he will suck. You aren't a GM. In fact, you have no credentials at all. So acting like your opinions are the end-all be-all is a pretty stupid thing to do.

There's a reason Lillard is the talk of the combines.

I wouldn't mind that. If Barnes was the last out of Beal, TRob, Drummond, MKG and Barnes, I'd be fine taking him.

Leonard is kind of a wildcard for me. Wouldn't hate it, but would rather take Marshall at 11 if he was available.

If we did take Leonard at 11, I'd love it if we could buy a 20ish pick and draft Tony Wroten.
 
I've kind of flip-flopped on the top-tier prospects in this draft but I've always maintained that we either trade up (my first choice) or take the BPA...

It's a six player draft (Davis/MKG/Robinson/Beal/Drummond/Barnes) and the next bunch of guys are basically on the same tier. With the luxury of a second pick I think we could afford to take a stab in the dark on a project.
 
I can't say I would be excited, but I would have faith that Barnes showed that he will be more than he was in the finals for UNC. I still see Martell all over him. I hope I'm wrong. Leonard is a gamble, but so is everyone else at 11.

Honestly I have just confused myself, going in circles looking at stats, clips, threads, and pundit opinions. I hope that the blazers have a better grasp of this draft than I do.

I know...... but I wish it wasn't true. When the Bucks drafted that guy Joe Alexander, I just cracked up. I knew he'd be out of the league in 2 years. I will admit I was totally wrong, as were many, about The Love Boat. He's been amazing.
 
I know people have already posted the link to all the measurements and test results from the combine, but Chad Ford highlighted some of the more interesting things that stood out.........

Barnes had 39.5 inch max vert, had the fastest time in the 3/4 court sprint, showed good lateral quickness & benched 185lbs 15 times

Darius Johnson Odom had highest max vert at 41.5". Miles Plumlee 40.5. Marquis Teague, Jeff Taylor & Marcus Denmon 40"

UNC's John Henson had surprisingly poor numbers. Just a 30" max vert. He's long, but not very explosive.
