Last year for example, it was widely reported that the Spurs where willing to trade T.Parker for a high lottery pick.

and yet they did not....and I am sure teams offered....

And yet he remains a Spur

It was widely reported that Rondo was readily available this year, and yet he is still a Celtic

^thought the exact same thing. Thinking he will not get past #3.

Wow, that guy is high if he thinks Drummond will be there at #6

Shit, I'm hoping all the GM's drafting before us are HIGH so that he drops to us. I've been saying all along that Drummond was the player I want out of this draft.

For the record, that draft wouldn't be too shabby. I'd be happy with Drummond at #6 (we won't be drafting at 6, but I'll dream for once), and 1 of the several players that that mock has as available at #11.

I could see Drummond at #4. But no way he slides any further IMO.

AD will go #1. I could see MKG and Beal being drafted ahead of Drummond, depending on the day, how the Top-3 works out in terms of draft order, etc.

I could see Drummond sliding if he comes across passive in workouts. If he shows a lack of interest in the game, he could drop. Doubtful, but possible. Also, if Harrison Barnes and Beal both look like stars in their workouts . . .

I don't know? Being passive and showing a lack of interest for the game still made Greg Oden a number one pick

I just don't see how either of those guys' workouts would really move them ahead of a big body like Drummond. Beal, maybe. But I can't see it with Barnes.

The key for Barnes would be to show more athleticism and an improved handle. If he can show that, plus some aggressiveness and still hit a bunch of shots, he could look very tempting for someone looking for a wing.

I have to believe Drummond won't tank his workouts and their will remain a big gap betweein 1-5 and 6-15.

Not that I think he is an expert but I was surprised at how much Mice Rice said his son (Rutger's coach) didnt like the guy (Drummond) and had known him for a long time. He also said how much he likes MKG and Robinson. For the record I like how Drummond looks but we better have the right coach if he needs direction or motivation if he is as Mice Rice Jr says he is.

No dentistry. No proctology (hey, we don't need anyone that soft). No whatever employment in the medical field requires you to take naked photos of yourself.

I think a great second career choice for one of our draft picks would be orthopedics or podiatry

I will say this. For all his drunk ramblings, Rice knows basketball, and his son seems to be a damn good coach as well

Here's a nice discussion of how MKG might fit on the Wizards. Portland relevant quote:

MKG's fit with the Wizards wouldn't be as poor as Turner's with the 76ers, which is really about as bad a situation as he could have been dropped into, but it wouldn't be very good. As great as the last month of the season was, the Wizards still aren't a great or even good team, so their identity isn't set in stone and no one other than Wall should be considered untouchable. However, it's more likely than not that Kidd-Gilchrist would be spending significant amounts of time playing next to Wall and one or two big men who aren't very good shooters, and it's fairly unlikely that a sharp-shooting, shot-creating shooting guard winds up here any time soon.

As a result, it would be worth it to take him if he's head and shoulders above the other players who are available, but if he's just a little bit better than someone who would fit much better in D.C., the Wizards should pass on him and sign someone like Nicolas Batum who might be a better fit for the team.
