I'm so excited! The first weekend of the playoffs is one of my favorite times of the year, maybe only behind Christmas. And finally, we have our seedings:

WEST
#1 Spurs vs #8 Jazz
#4 Grizzlies vs #5 Clippers

#2 Thunder vs #7 Mavericks
#3 Lakers vs #6 Nuggets

EAST
#1 Bulls vs #8 Sixers
#4 Celtics vs #5 Hawks (Hawks have HCA)

#2 Heat vs #7 Knicks
#3 Pacers vs #6 Magic

So what do you all think? I'm most excited about Knicks/Heat. It's one of the greatest rivalries of all time and this series has the most superstars of any other first round series. I will be pulling for the Knicks, of course. The other series I'm very interested in is Thunder/Mavericks. I love the Mavericks and it will be very interesting to see if they can completely destroy the Thunder's season in the first round. Never underestimate the heart of the champion, you know?

ugh ... i'll follow it because it's my job but not excited about the playoffs at all if the blazers aren't there. just want to see the lakers, thunder and spurs lose. not sure i can take the spurs winning it all being so close to san antonio.

Come on Denver!

Just maybe Buchanan will realize just how bad his draft was last season.

maybe it's because i'm "young" but people talking about the knicks like they are a great franchise is laughable to me. they've won two titles over the course of their existence and 8 conference titles, but only two of those have come since 1973. they just haven't been relevant enough for me to consider them a great team, but i guess that's what playing in new york will do for you.

What is your job?

I'm pretty excited about the playoffs. Every match-up in the west is going to be a dogfight and the east looks more like competitive this year then the top teams just instantly winning without much of a fight from the other teams.

He is.
Hint: He really, really likes flowers.

The playoffs have begun! I love rooting for upsets. Go Sixers!

I'm just gonna watch the 2/7 series from both conferences (wish Lin was playing). The rest of it looks boring.

Near triple double for Rose with a couple minutes to play. Not bad.

Fuck. I turn the game on for a second and see this.

That looked like an ACL.

And you see why you don't play your MVP caliber player with < 3 minutes left and a 20 point lead.

We all know why. We had Nate McMillan here for about 8 years.

ouch, there is no way that injury to rose is mild. I assume at least gone for a few games.

He did walk after though. They were holding him but he was bending his knee. Could've just been a precaution. He could be okay like Pierce in the 2008 Finals.

He has been to banged up for the bulls trainers to let him return quickly even from a minor injury. Gotta think long term not short term with him.

Stoudemire is so bad on defense. One of the worst since coming into the League!
