according to Adam Gorney two days ago, rivals has not scouted/evaluated him... he would know.

Rivals finished their final evaluations. Pisarcik stayed the same 2 star 5.2. Either they have not evaluated him, where they don't think highly enough of him to compete in the top 135 OL candidates. Or they have evaluated him and don't think much of him, and are keeping the low rating.

what does rivals have to evaluate him on? An Oregon offer/commitment? A highlight real :rolleyes2:

They've stated that no one attended one of his games. 5.2 from them is usually a white flag being waved. Personally I appreciate that more then a stab in the dark guess

A bright spot indeed!

Will Devon start as a freshman or redshirt? I can see him doing Track as a freshman though.

Mariota already has Huff, Dungy, and Colt in the WR. Anyone else I am perhaps missing?

Not sure. But if other reports are true about him being a wonderful blocker.. then I could see him playing some this year. He wont start though.

Huff, Lowe, Hawkins, Addison, Stanford, Dungy, are all ahead of him, while guys like Kelley, Chance Allen, are probably ahead of him too.

Colt is TE

I'm not going to be crushed if we lose a couple of recruits. I think Marshall will put on big time muscle this offseason and be more of a traditional power back, Tyner will come in to bring the lighting and DAT will be used in space as he should be used for the knock out punches!

Wilson, Carrington and the twins can all bolt..... Stanford, Addison, Brown, Lowe, Huff, Colt, Dungy all sit in front of them anyway. Besides I think Huff, Colt, Stanford and Addison are locks to start. They've all produced and Mariota is comfortable with them.

Being that I'm a defensive guy, I'd like to spend some time developing our LB chore with this class and finding a kick ass DE that can Dion Jordan for a couple years to go along with my BIG NASTY STARTERS, AA and BUCKNER!

The Twins are our current defensive power players one at S one at LB. Tyrell is in fact our highest ranked LB commit.

Tyrell
Mattingly
Walker

Losing Tyrell would be the opposite of developing our LB core, that and that we have no highly ranked LB targets left. All the remainders seem to be projects and 3 stars.

DE we are pretty stacked, until we need to blur it into the DT position.

Oregon OL target Porter did not make it in for an official visit, not sure if he can reschedule or not.

Texas QB and recent Utah St. commit Damion Hobbs is in Eugene on an official this weekend

Noooo

I'm gonna go to Utah State for college

Stay committed ;~;

Wasn't Max Unger a 2 star and now he's a Pro Bowl Center?

Also, I think we may land Oser, unless we have our sites set on another OL.

Also, whats the status on Juwann Williams and Cunningham?

Juwann will announce tomorrow and is supposed to be down to Vandy and UO

What I'm hearing on Cunningham is more drawn out/speculative. He'd probably prefer to stay close to home and go with Auburn, but they're down to 1 LB spot left and may prefer someone else. It may be down to Oregon and Tennessee

Oser is all stanford, Brenner/Pisarick took his place since both project at possibly center. Big target left is Hunt, sadly Porter missed his official, not sure if we can schedule him he was the other big target.

We managed to get Pisarick?

Hunt did enjoy Oregon, so hopefully we can nab him. Michigan is stacked at OL anyway.

Dontre is snowed/iced in at the airport in Ohio. Maybe weather will finally be an issue for a school other than us and maybe help us.

Ah.

So whats the situation on Nic Purcell going? Can we accept him?

Also, we don't need Damoin Hobbs. We have 2 QBs behind Mariota already.

Besides, I'm going to Utah State, I want Hobbs :V

After being positive in the face of all the other mods on 247 saying Dontre to Ohio state, the DT247 mods now aaying 50/50 considering the former optimism I woukd consider yhis a major step back in the odds we keep him.

I didnt follow that post at all sorry

ah went to 247 gotcha

We got Williams yay.

Looks like we will Offer Ragin after burning through all our LB targets and try to steal him from Cal. Didn't offer him for so long.. but that's recruiting we'll see how he reacts.

I'm not sure those QB's will stay around. Rodriguez and Lockie probably didnt envision sitting around for 4 years just to have a shot at starting 1 year. with Hobbs we would spread the QB's out a bit, with him Redshirting next year, that would put him in a position potentially for big playing time around his RS Sophomore year.

Well I am going to Utah State. Wouldn't want him to bolt to Eugene.

Besides, you can always look at next year for a Freshman QB.

Speaking of, any 2014 QB prospects look interesting?

Scout is relaying that Bierria has cancelled his OV scheduled to start tomorrow. Reading the tea leaves I'd guess this means that Oregon let him know they've decided on offering Ragin who I'd guess will flip from Cal shortly after

That would give them 4 pretty solid looking kids at LB in this class Walker, Mattingly, Robinson & Ragin

People seem to think Prevot leaning to A&M (still Open)
James eliminates Oregon stays with Wisky
Hunt between Oregon and Cal.
We get a visit from Bellamy but he really isn't mentioning Oregon much Georga leads.

We seem to be after a QB hard not sure why. (hobbs McEvoy, Boyle)

TAMU is hitting huge on the recruiting trail. Sumlin is that good(reminds me of Mike Tomlin, who I think is the best coach not named Harbaugh). Not to mention it would be closer for Prevot. The only reason he's choosing USC is because of their business school me thinks.

James who? Alec James?

Hopefully we can nab Hunt. Losing Redmond was big.

Good luck grabbing a defensive player out of SEC country. It was luck we got Williams and that Safety from Alabama to Oregon.

I am confused too. We don't need a QB. Let McEvoy go to WVU(make it exciting) and Hobbs to USU(for my Aggies. Got accepted :V)

Bennett gone, we have Lockie and Rodriguez both off their red shirt years. Whoever is picked up will probably not EE so will be more difficult to backup for Mariota (JC McEvoy being best chance.)

Does this mean Rodriquez recovery from that broken leg isn't going great, has Lockie not improved on his accuracy while on the practice squad? Why go for a 3-star now when several 4-star 2014 are intereted and we could take 2.

It's like we have more QB targets we just started going for recently than any other position.

We shouldn't need a QB. We have Lockie and J-Rod already. We should focus on the O-line a little.
