247 predictors are swtiching from South Florida to Oregon for OLB Vincent Jackson. Would he be a ILB with Mattingly?

David Moa who came on an OV for the WSU game still doesn't have an offer from Oregon, but wants to be a Duck. He relayed that on his visit Oregon ran him through a variety of tests to determine how much more he'll grow as they're recruiting him as a NT. Rumors are that he's up to 260 lbs

Is Moa a Samoan? A dream school for a Samoan with a work ethic playing NG might not be a bad thing!

Does Moa sound samoan to you?

Also, whats the word on this Myles Autry kid out in Georgia, plus some 2015 OT who is really high on us.

the Twitters are saying Adoree Jackson is setting up his OV to Eugene :pimp:

Oh hohohoho snap.

Please let us steal him. The USC tears would be glorious. Plus he can be the DAT 2.0(and UW could keep Baker if we get AJ).

What are the odds we could get (and would want to take) all of:

Juju, Adoree, Jalen Brown, Aaron Springs (who is taking a visit to FSU this weekend), and Budda.

Would we have room for all of them? Sure seems like our WR/DB position would be stacked for years. I guess we could load up on linemen next class. It would clearly be our best class of all time right? (with Royce and James)

not going to speculate on the odds of landing all these guys, but I'm pretty sure Oregon has the room. At WR they're losing Hawkins and Huff to graduation & maybe DAT to the draft. The DB ranks will lose Jackson & Patterson to graduation and likely more (Ifo &/or Mitchell) to the NFL.

Getting all of them? Better be hit by lightning.

Have room? Yes we do. WRs and DBs will go going ala draft/graduation. We got room for skill players.

If you guys want to see something special, check out Byron Cowart DE from Florida class of 2015 hyped up about the Ducks! He looks 25 already and plays like it too!

It appears his mom gave him the OK to come see Oregon, and he's elated!

Ugh.... I really didn't want to think about losing Ifo, Mitchell, Jackson, and Avery Patterson.

Nothing lasts forever. Besides, we got depth waiting in the wings.

And I'm liking Cowart. I hope we go vigorously after him.

the names Chris Seisay, Tyree Robinson, Reggie Daniels, and Juwaan Williams among others will do an excellent job of carrying on the recent Decade long tradition of excellent DB's here. Keep them in mind too :)

Mathis would start for a very large portion of division 1 as well.

Troy Hill is no slouch either... If Ifo & Mitchell are gonzo I bet him and Mathis are the CB starters next year. Also in the mix will be the Amoako twins and likely starter at Safety Erick Dargan.

I know there's guys waiting in the wings.... it's just tough to see great guys like Mitchell, Patterson, and Ifo leave.

ehhhh... he's had his lost moments. I wouldn't call Hill being guaranteed a starter next year. How about we get back to recruiting. Nicholson announces on the 8th or something, Sure he had a good visit but not a lot of rumblings about anything else on that. Oregon certainly improved their chances, but considering his other interests I would not be shocked if he stayed closer to home.

a guess = a guarantee? I actually prefer Hill to Mathis but could see either getting jumped by superior talents. Both are on the small side, but I think it's fair to say that they'd be the favorites to start if both the current guys moved on.

Like the new commit Hollins, Montae has mentioned wanting to study Engineering while at college and of course Oregon doesn't offer that. He hasn't tipped his cards much about his intentions but we'll see soon enough.

Mcgraw may nothave made fsu trip, springs still solid to oregon after his.

Cool to hear.

So, who is next on the official visit list?

Is this a public link? http://oregon.rivals.com/visit.asp

of course a lot more kids will end up taking OVs, but it's hard for those who aren't local to make it to Duck game weekends in the middle of their Sr year of HS football. As usual, look for plenty of visitors to stop by after the regular season is over when both the prospect and Oregon's coaches have more time. One of the latest to say he'll be taking a visit at some point is TCU LB commit Jimmie Swain... Ducks have been after him for a while

Tanner Carew, the 2* O-Line/Longsnapper who is pulling down Oregon's recruiting class rankings, was named to the US Army All-American Bowl squad today

You know, I got excited about recruiting for that one year when we pulled Devon Blackmon, Tacoi Sumler, etc..... but since then I've reverted back to not caring because it seems like our guys recruit some damn fine players, regardless of rankings, and the guys who have the high rankings often times don't turn out to be anything special. Obviously there's the DAT's of the team, but a lot of the biggest contributors over the past few years haven't been ranked very high. I trust our recruiting staff.

I think we've always gotten the right fit of Ducks for the style and concept of team we achieve here. Now I think the best athletes, a handful with great attitudes are flocking to Oregon... such as Rolls Royce, Springs, Brown and James. A 5 star that doesn't get the O will be elsewhere in a year or two. Oregon really does look for that special fit, and if it happens they are a five like DAT and Tyner all the better!

It's a little sad that Seastrunk didn't work out, but it's not like our current backfield isn't awesome.

the twitters are indicating that Budda Baker will be joining Mahalak & OLineman Chris Brown on an OV for the Utah game
