OT 2018-2019 Rip City Two FANTASY FOOTBALL

Welcome to Year 3 of Fantasy Football. In season 1 we had 12 participants, and last year we had 8 participants, and @HAAK72 won it all, beating me in the final. With some new blood in the forum, I'm hoping for at least 10 people who want to join in on this. I'm also trying to get this set early as I think it'd be awesome to do an in person draft for those who can. I'd post the picks online so that others could draft if they weren't with the group live.

We did a $50 buy-in last year, with some bonuses for the weekly high score, the highest score in the season, and the most total points in the season. I'm down to do that again, but we could raise or lower the buy-in depending on what the majority wants.

The league will remain PPR, and depending on how many people we have, we'll do 2 QBs or an extra "Offensive Player" (which is usually best served by a 2nd QB). Again, everything is up to you guys.

You wouldn't do it if there was 10? We had a lotta fun last year with 8. 10-12 is ideal.

I have been playing since 2007 and manage a couple leagues, Id play if you got it to at least 10(9 others)I even have an extra 12lb bronze trophy I could donate. It was over $200 when I bought it. It has a name plate on it that says “Just Win Baby” which is one of the league names I manage but it could be replaced easily. Is this snake or auction? Keeper?

I'm split between 4 and 5. 6 is too overpowered, QBs get many more TDs than positional players. If we do an "Offensive Player" slot, it'll have to be 4 per TD so that there isn't much gap between QB2s and positional players.

An online "Live" draft too.

Gonna try to do it in person this year but post each pick in a thread for anyone who's drafting online.

Seasonal High Score Bonus - $10 (On Top of Weekly High Score Bonus)

PAYOUT POOL - $440
1st: $260 (apx. 60% of pool)
2nd: $130 (apx. 30% of pool)
3rd: $50 (apx. 10% of pool)

Yeah it’s cool to have something at the end besides cash, not sure what the league name is but I can put a new name plate on it? “S2 Fantasy Football League”, “Rip City FFL”, something like that or whatever you already call it.

I don't want to be the guy who is flying by the seat of his pants and totally winging it because that's what my picks would be for my team.

Unless you really need me because you don't have enough, I am going to have to bow out this season.

Just do a little bit of research every day. Draft would be in a month, and 5 minutes of Googling for fantasy football advice would go a long way. Then, put together a draft big board based on the info you research and what players sound good and bad to you. There's a tool on ESPN for that. I could help you.

I would rather not be bookkeeper. My fantasies tend to be about the cheerleaders and not the players. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
