Rozier is going to Pheonix. I'm calling it now.

for a #1 ? Ainge will want it unprotected. Phoenix would be stupid to do lose a shot at Zion so maybe they stipulate it to be top 1 protected.

Honestly, Warren for Rozier makes sense for both teams.

Huh? Why would that make sense for Boston? They already have too many wings so they'd trade their backup PG for another one when their starting PG is injury prone and a free agent after this year?

Besides it's not close to working straight up.

They would be dumb to offer them anything to be honest. They are not winning this season no matter what, from this point it’s a tank job and competing with New York and Atlanta for the worst record in the league. Rozier is a free agent in the offseason and Celtics won’t match a poison deal.

LeBron is playing out of his mind right now. He's never been a great 3-point shooter, but after going 5-6 against us, he went 6-8 tonight.

Still, why is scoring 50+ with three different teams considered "historic"? The caption says four others did it before him, so he didn't actually make any history tonight (that's like being the 4th European to "discover" America? Anybody remember that guy? Didn't think so.). I think Micheal Jordan's 31 career 50+ point games with the same team is MUCH more impressive than LeBron's 12 career 50+ point games with three different teams.

Casual fans hear the word historic and stop thinking. It's a way to brainwash.

Boston could use another PF. Smart Can be a backup PG. Warren and Holmes for Rozier, Holmes, and Yabusele. I've messed around with an 8 man rotation an 2K with this linejo, it works out well for Boston.

Its also part of the age of stats with random caveats to them. Ill be fair here the Blazers do it with Dame at times too. Its always a little funny when its he was the 1st guy to have this many points, with this many assists, while chewing gum, on a Tuesday since the last guy who did it...
ESPN throws that stuff out there with Lebron all the time.
I respect Lebrons game, he doesnt need ESPN and Stephen a Smith to bloviate about it.

I mean, it's been done once, so that's often, right...?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double_(basketball)
"Most points scored in a triple-double: James Harden (Houston Rockets) holds the record for the most points scored in a triple-double with 60 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists on January 30, 2018, against the Orlando Magic. The previous record was 57 points by Russell Westbrook."

You are right. I had to set it at 50 points to find some.

Man, Nic Batum has fallen off a cliff.

Kemba had 60 in a loss at home to the Sixers in a game during which Nico went 0-4 and scoreless. He's still owed 24 mil this year, 25 next, and a PO for the year after for 27 mil.
Just wait, he'll have one decent game and we'll get the crazies back saying we should trade for him.

Haven't you wanted him back or am I confusing you with someone else?

Everybody’s yelling at each other!

Nick & his agent have some insight into the Blazers locker room and organization.

“He was raving about the great locker room, the great guys, and he was like ‘Every time I send one of my players to Portland they always love it, they have career years,”’ Stauskas said. “It was one thing for him to say it, but once I came here and experienced it, I understood why he was saying what he was. It’s definitely been refreshing being in this environment and having fun with these guys.”

I'd have been all over Porter were it not for his contract. I'd take on Oubre.

We have some pretty bad contracts on our books too, I’d bite the Wizards hand off if they wanted to offload Otto for a couple overpaid assets and a pick. Oubre is not good, he just plays well against us. Seriously we should be all over Otto he’s exactly the type of player we’re missing and could definitely take the next step if he were playing for us

Porter for ET and ML works - and it saves them 1 year of his contract - Portland upgrades the starting SF - but loses the de-facto PG of the second unit and a 3rd string center.

I love what ET does this year with the 2nd unit, but this could be doable if you just let WB4 be the 2nd unit de-facto PG and play a 2nd unit of WB4, 2 of (Curry, Sauce, Layman), Harkless, ZCo.

Nic Batum has always been one of the most overrated basketball players I’ve ever seen.

The guy was so always inconsistent and never could hit a jumper.

You guys think Evan Turner is over paid ? Batum is much much much worse.

I hated Batum he’s incredibly trash

IF and I say IF Mo comes back and plays to his potential along with the surprising growth of Jake the snake, we are actually ok at the SF position. That's a lot of IF'S though.

Morris would be a huge improvement to this team and that move should be explored.

Donovon Mitchell is shooting 29% from 3 this season. Is it possible this guy is a little overrated ?

What about ET and Leonard for Porter and Jason Smith? It saves the Wiz $3 million this year, is about the same next year, and then saves them $28.5 million in 2 years. Smith sucks but he'd be fine in the Meyers role for the rest of this year when he expires. We could also use his expiring contract for another deal at the deadline. Would the Wiz do that? I'm fine either way as I see both sides being right about Porter. He is overpaid but he also has a lot of useful basketball skills that aren't being used properly in Washington. Taking a risk that he just needs to get out of that horrible locker room is something that I wouldn't be mad at trying but also understand not doing it too with our current ownership situation in flux.

He was actually fairly inconsistent last year. He put up numbers, but it was on inefficient numbers.
