You can talk about being swept in the playoffs.
You can talk about how the Blazers made what seem to be "minimal" changes in the offseason.
You can talk about how the owner is no longer alive, and can't protect the team and fans.

But, TODAY, 12 games into the 2018-19 season.... WE ARE 2nd IN THE WEST.

IT DOESN'T MEAN EVERYTHING, BUT I'LL F-ING TAKE IT!!!!!!!!

So (according to some on here) this means we win 74 games and walk to an NBA title. That's how it works right?
I mean what other conclusion could possibly be drawn from those results? Can't wait for the parade!

They are really booing Hayward in Utah
I would too if I was Jazz fan. He left them for another team. Ofc it's good for him, but as a fan, you can't appreciate that.

People saying omg he broke his ankle and they are booing him. It's not like he almost died, man is on 30M per year contract, he'll be fine.

One more thing, I hate Colin Cowherd. Don't get me wrong, I like LeBron a lot, he was my favourite player for a long time (Brandon Roy and Dame were other two), but this dickriding Lakers and LeBron is awful. He was so disrespectful towards Blazers and Nuggets on the show yesterday, like with poor Houston, Lakers are already 2nd seed and in WCF. Fuck sake.

Damn okc turned it around fast.. 7-4 now after starting 0-4

He just knows what city he lives in. Plus, he's one of those smug guys who thinks he's much more important than he really is. He tried to join our group, but SlyPokerCow didn't roll off the tongue right.

Bad depth and I think Cody Zeller's injuries / Dwight Howard really killed their chances to 16-17 and 17-18.

Better depth this year though and I like the Bridges pick for them. And although Zeller is a shell of himself, he's still doing the little things to help you win that Dwight never did.

Struggling in close games again though. Last 2 years they've under-performed their point differential by 6 games and are on track for similar bud luck /close game struggles this year
was going to respond last night and got distracted, anyways. I dont watch a ton of Charlotte basketball but from what I saw, I thought Howard played about as well as expected. Good around the rim on both ends but take him 5 feet away and he’s pretty much useless.

Kimd of strikes me that MKG inability to develop a shot really hurt that teams future.

I don't think him being a shooter was ever realistic. I think his defense is the more disappointing thing. He's solid, but you need to be elite if you're going to be that limited offensively as a wing player.

Borrego is smart to play him at back-up 4.

DeAndre Ayton is a new level of soft.

I've never seen a big his size with such a lack of activity/physicality on both ends.

Meyers...?
He's worse.

And at least Meyers will never be accused of not playing hard. He just never had the feel or reaction time to turn his activity into quality positional defense (he's gotten better though).

Still worse.

At least Towns has stretches where he's an active help defender. Ayton is the worst help/pnr defender I can remember watching. It's Kanter level.

Ill admit Meyers has gotten better, theres been quite a few times Id accuse him of not playing hard, but it could just be he’s slow...

And we're tied for 3rd-best in the league. The lost potential makes me sad. We'd be the best team in the NBA if we had Ed Davis.

Are you the new Kingspeed? Lol.

If they had Ed Davis, Damian would be shooting 60% from 3, and averaging 35 ppg and the team would be 15-0 at this point in the season.

Just another ratings whore who is pimping his hometown large market. No surprises here.

Someone must have failed 1st grade math.

Lopez: 31 of 80
Thompson: 31 of 87

I don't know what "has more 3s" means to this Klopfer fella, but makes is a wash and attempts goes to Klay. The only category that Brook is ahead in is percentage.

And before someone says that tweet is from yesterday afternoon... Both teams played yesterday. Brook made six 3's and Klay made two. So, Brook had fewer at the start of the day and the same number at the end of it. The only angle that might make that tweet accurate is if the Warriors hadn't played yet that day, which makes it so misleading that the only place it could possibly call home is Twitter.
