I'm really torn on Hayward. He'd be a good fit on offense and he has perfect form on his shot so I'm not worried about him regaining his shooting. I think it would kill our defense though. Having Dame, CJ, and Hayward as our perimeter defenders would be bad. I would say that maybe Hayward could come off the bench but Stauskas does a lot of the same things as him on a minimum contract (not saying that Stauskas is anywhere near the player).

I'd probably do the Turner/Leonard trade you suggested. Then sign Melo, fuck it. Despite Turner's play this year I think you have to capitalize on his trade value if a deal presents itself to get a potentially better player or out of his contract.
Hayward always seemed like a great defender in Utah. Wonder if his injury has sapped that ability too.

Let's say the Warriors decide they need to trade Draymond in order to keep Durant. What would his trade value be?

Could be a really interesting buy low situation, but that's tough salary to match. Do we detonate our bench/locker-room chemistry by sending Turner/Harkless back there to take a chance on a former all-star? Try to get Rozier too?

I heard the Celtics passed on some pretty good offers for Rozier this summer. I find it hard to believe they'd just throw him into that trade. Rozier probably wouldn't be happy here either so maybe flip him to a 3rd team like Phoenix and they could give something back to Boston or take on some salary to make Boston's incoming more attractive.

I'd also be interested in what Houston is offering Boston and if we could be a 3rd team there.

I think that was more a product of the team around him as Utah has had several great one on one and team defenders over the years.

Only thing though, I'd have to listen to Calabro call him "Gordy" all year. That would be painful.

He's a DPOY caliber player. I suspect if the Wolves can get Saric/Covington for Butler, I think the Warriors could get something similar.

Kings got an exciting team right now. That Cousins trade worked out so well, thanks to that they have Fox and Hield and probably also Bagley. They got a ton of cap space next Sunmer so they could either use that to absorb deals and get picks or just throw some ridiculously good deals at players who might not get similar money elsewhere like Middleton, Harris, Randle etc. Cauley-Stein has been playing well this season too and Bjelica looks like a very good acquisition. Their roster actually makes perfect sense - a dynamic backcourt in Fox (he’s improved so much this season!) and Hield, a good stretch four in Bjelica and a rebounding strong center WCS plus impact players on the bench in Bogdanovic and Bagley who can change the game. I like what they’ve done.

Why didn't this post get any "likes"?

Denver are so overrated. Was listening to a recent Bill Simmons podcast today, the one where he talks about Jimmy Butler trade to Philadelphia and he named Denver and Utah as the next best teams in the West after Warriors. That is not only very disrespectful to us but also completely ridiculous, Denver haven’t even made the playoffs with this team and are 9-5 currently, just a win over Kings for example. I will be very surprised if they even get homecourt advantage.

Their record is also always inflated by the fact that they play at a high altitude and thus have a bigger homecourt advantage than a normal team. Their main star is miles worse than ours (Lillard v Jokic), CJ is better than either of the shooting guards they have and Nurkic is better than their average players too. They might have the edge at 4th and 5th starter as Millsap and Barton are better than Aminu and Harkless/Layman but that’s about it. If you look at the bench then we are much, much better there again.

There is another ref barely visible in the bottom right corner of the vid who appears to have seen the assault.

He needs to be arrested and have his scholarship (if he's getting one) revoked.

He's been kicked off the team and barred from campus. The school wants nothing to do with him and any potential criminal charges or law suit. I don't blame them. That shit was just so wrong on so many levels.

Here is a response to questions about the incident from someone present.
"he was ejected! hopefully he’ll be suspended indefinitely but the refs reviewed what happened & ejected him"
If you go to the link and read the comments. You will get the discussion.

I see his fist. Thought it was a fan. It's the wrong signal. That's an automatic technical ejection.

According to an insider on Clutchfans, Gordon Hayward is possibly on the market and Boston has reached out to Morey.

Do we have any interest? That 30 mil deal is a hard pill to swallow if Hayward doesn't come back close to his previous level of health.

At this point in their respective careers, ET is the more valuable player. Hayward also has the distinction of being one of the few NBA players who is more over-paid.
