Stan Van Gundy on the Lebetard show just said Portland, Denver, Houston are teams #2-#4 in the Western Conference (not necessarily in order - and Golden State #1). He is impressed with Zach.

If Portland is top 4 this year, then they gotta start playing better defense asap.

Paul sounds a lot like how ex-Pistons described Isaiah.

I didn't hear one thing in there that made me think he is a bad teammate; I would love to have a guy like Paul or a healthy Isiah Thomas on my team. Almost sounded like Martin was saying it was selfish for Paul to get a lot of assists by spreading the ball around because he should be focusing on feeding a star player.

I don't give a flying fuck whether or not he comes off as a bad teammate or not. That wasn't my point at all.

Isaiah Thomas could be a politically savvy, colluding influence on a team. He still won two championships. The only thing I said was just how much some of what players have commented on about CP3, reminds me of Isaiah Thomas. That's it.

Rondo on Chris Paul:

"This is the only time I'm going to address this," Rondo told ESPN on Tuesday. "I had a mouthpiece in my mouth and I [was] exasperated because I was about to tell him to 'get the [expletive] out of here.'

"Look at my body language [in the video]. My hands on my hips. I turn away for a second. Look at Eric [Gordon] and Melo [Carmelo Anthony] in the video. If they saw me spit, they would have turned their face up or something. They had no reaction."

Paul said he took pride in "staying as poised as possible" during the incident.

"Y'all are playing me with these tricks or these mind games, tampering with the evidence," Rondo told ESPN on Tuesday. "Ain't no way that I intentionally spit on you with my body language the way it was.

"One, if I spit on you, bottom line, there is not going to be no finger-pointing. If you felt that I just spit on you, then all bets are off. Two, look at my body language. If I spit on you on purpose, I'm going to be ready for a man to swing on me. You ain't going to have my hands on my hip and my head look away at someone if I spit on them. After the [expletive] goes down, within 30 seconds, you run and tell the sideline reporters that I spit on you? If I spit on you, you are trying to get to me. You not trying to make up a story so you can look like a good guy. It makes no sense to me.

"I was going to let it rest. I wasn't going to say much. But now I have kids and I teach my kids to speak up for themselves and don't let the world tell their story."

Rondo questioned Paul's image created by the NBA.

"Of course, the NBA went with his side because I got three games and he got two," Rondo told ESPN. "Everyone wants to believe Chris Paul is a good guy. They don't know he's a horrible teammate. They don't know how he treats people. Look at what he did last year when he was in L.A.; trying to get to the Clippers' locker room. They don't want to believe he's capable of taunting and igniting an incident.

" ... He comes out and says I spit and the media sides with that."

YES YES AND MORE YES. I've sided with Rondo this entire time. PREACH.

4 Former blazers on the floor for Brooklyn

Bazz
Davis
Crabbe
RHJ (Though he was the piece to go to get Plum)

How does he even consider this?

Bucks are amazing this year. Best team to watch for me. I think 3 teams could win the East this year: Raptors, Bucks, Celtics.

He saw the cut, knew where the ball was going, went and got it. Nothing magic about it. Just paying attention and making a play.
I think if we asked everyone to put their hand up if they've seen a player with his back turned to the play dive and intercept a bounce pass we wouldn't see a lot of hands is all.

Can't believe the Lakers let Lopez go for so little.

He's perfect for Bucks setup. He's getting about 2 rebounds a game but it doesn't matter as Giannis is getting a hundred every game.

I love their team. So much talent and it all fits so perfectly together.

This heat check is just nuts.

Curry is hunting that MVP this year.

Guy is ridiculous...if the Blazers could field a team like the Warriors, all of us on the forum would be the cockiest, loudest, most annoying fans just like the Warriors fans are now...I dream of that day. Lillard has had some awesome moments, but Steph is making me think he is an alien like Lebron.
