He can't have done much scouting. No way they keep all their remaining 4 picks. Just weird timing from LA's perspective though. Why do this before knowing the guy they're targeting is actually available?Brett Brown is acting GM currently.

Maybe to trade. No way they eat into their capspace with a higher rookie scale. My guess is they’re looking to package it with 25 to move up.

No mention of Blazers... Neil not even entertaining idea of trading CJ... just keep doing the same thing and expect different resultshttp://bleacherreport.com/articles/...rs-knicks-celtics-among-suitors-for-no-4-pick
2018 NBA Draft Trade Rumors: Knicks, Celtics Among Suitors for No. 4 Pick
Makes me sickNo mention of Blazers... Neil not even entertaining idea of trading CJ... just keep doing the same thing and expect different results
that's most years..Y’all expecting big things are going to be sooooo excited....
...and then disappointed tomorrow....
Kinda like predicting 55 wins a season and a trip to the WCF!Y’all expecting big things are going to be sooooo excited....

I just can’t understand why Paul Allen is ok with thisI already know nothing will happen, we will get another Layman at 24 and call it a night. Everyone was excited thinking we would make a splash at the trade deadline too, we just aren’t in a financial position or have the assets that a lot of other teams have to make trades. The only way the Blazers are gonna win a championship imo is if we acquire the best talent evaluators in the league and start hitting HOMERUNS in the mid to late rounds since the FO is determined to keep us in the middle of the pack.
Money probably, it’s easier to sell the kool aid (and merch/tickets) when people see us winning 45-49 games and think the internal growth thing wins championships.I just can’t understand why Paul Allen is ok with this
You would think at his age that wasting time would be unacceptable... and sticking with CJ another season and delaying the inevitable is wasting timeMoney probably, it’s easier to sell the kool aid (and merch/tickets) when people see us winning 45-49 games and think the internal growth thing wins championships.
Olshey has sold the whole organization that the 49 win season is indicative of the team headed in the right direction and the sweep in the first round is the aberration. I can't understand why everyone hasn't realized that Dame and CJ aren't a match on offense where both guys seem to need to dribble every time they touch the ball and they're a disaster on defense where neither one can defend a legit 2. CJ and Dame are each legitimate talents, they are both capable of being the first or second option on a team that can contend but not when they're together.I just can’t understand why Paul Allen is ok with this
So everything that goes on behind the scenes gets reported huh?No mention of Blazers... Neil not even entertaining idea of trading CJ... just keep doing the same thing and expect different results
I'm expecting nothing. It'll be fine if we do nothing because we can wait till July and still use our TPE.
However, there's a few prospects that if we take, I'll be extremely frustrated. If we took Grayson Allen at #24.... smh.

The only way I trade the number 4 if I am Memphis is if I get rid of parsons, get a good cheap young player in return AND get their next years 1 round draft pick with no restrictions.

Do you have a dip in your shot? I'm honestly just curious and I don't remember. Not looking to argue haha.
