I think Collins is the next Zach Collins.... He simply has too many unique elements to his game to try to quantify him against other players.... That could be a great thing or it may not translate, but personally I think he will be very very good. Typically I have zero faith in Gonzaga players, I don't feel that way about Collins at all. Dude is a defensive stud, and also has solid Offensive skills. The combination of things makes it hard for me to put a ceiling on Zach.

If Collins genetics come to play and he grows into his dads type of body, watch out NBA we might have the next White Shaq

Shit, HALF this forum could beat Goodwin and Aminu in a 3 point contest!
lets see, Morrow 42% last year in Chicago
Amniu 36% last year in Portland
HCP 0????????????

I was as big a Rasheed fan as there is. After years of watching Tim Duncan I'm convinced he emulated certain aspects of Rasheed's game and perfected it. That face up bank shot from the elbow, the quick turn to the left shoulder bank shot, etc...

Rasheed was just his own worst enemy with the officials. But I loved him as a player.

I've also heard off the court Rasheed could be a super stand up guy often, but other times could be a prick.

One of my favorite all time Blazers.

He used to eat lunch at Wilsonville Burger King when I was in high school. We used to see him on our lunch break. He was always super cool to us, and bullshit with us, but I've been told he could be a prick.

Yeah, based on that anecdote, it's plain as day how different they are. I couldn't imagine Meyers having even a hint of that kind of attitude. I'd picture him watching the ball the whole way in, fingers crossed hoping it hit, and then turning and congratulating the others on a good contest. No chance he'd risk potentially alienating a teammate by taunting them like that.

Dude, you're so wrong. Meyers would have his eyes closed the whole time!

I feel like The Blakers' internship is just a ploy to be a pro walk-on that can't be traded.

Re: Collins = Rasheed.

Um... unlikely. 'Sheed had unlimited talent and athleticism but, let's say, inconsistent focus. If he wanted to be, he could be a top ten talent in any game. I sincerely doubt Collins is that level. He won't be doing this kind of thing:

I stand by my Collins as Joakim Noah. Noah's a (much) better passer but Collins can shoot.

Wonder if this means Blake is going to be on the coaching staff? Or perhaps he just volunteers his time at the workouts and practices.
