Why would the Packers wait until 1 second left on the play clock to snap the ball almost every time against such a good pass rush? I would think it would be better to mix it up to at least keep them guessing.

Why do you hire Lafleur as a HC when as an OC in Tennessee he was awful... I watch a lot of Titans games because of Mariota and while Mariota has a lot of issues (Im not sure he’s going to be in the NFL that long), the play calling in Tennessee was so bland and boring. Not sure what GB was thinking...

Both teams tonight for the most part are doing short plays that don't have much of a chance of being broken for big gains. The one big play by the Packers led to their only points. You gotta take chances down field in the NFL to keep the defense from collapsing the box.

I already saw this crappy offense last weekend... Drives me nuts...

With how crappy this game has been I would really like for it to go to OT.

@hoopsjock have you checked out the scoreboard on ESPN this morning? The box shows you have 24 points, but the actual scoreboard shows you have 48. You must have some 2x cheat code on..haha.

It looks like everyone's scores are doubled on the scoreboard right now. ESPN's updates this year are not impressive..haha

Raiders are in a tough position. Did AB apologize because he's gonna be better or because he could've potentially lost almost $30 million if he didn't? Despite the distractions he always brings it when he plays. The Raiders have a pretty bad roster that is fairly young without him so they probably have to just pay him and hope for the best.

I was hoping theyd cut him selfishly

This AB story is fascinating I guess...
Dude, WTF? Everyone involved looks horrible right now. I'm guessing this was some sort of test by the Raiders to see if AB was going to come unhinged at the first hint of trouble again. He certainly did but was that the best strategy if you're trying to keep AB happy? What can they do now though? He's not going to play but I'd be surprised if they grant his release either though.

...remember what I said, AB knows his feet are fucked up and will take years to heal and build up calluses again.

That was my first thought. Problem is though if he came in and tried to show up Bill he’d last about 5 seconds...

...what's going to be interesting is if teams make him "tryout" to prove he can still play or if they just sign him regardless based on past resume. If teams want him to showcase, then expect more drama from him claiming he is too good for tryouts. This would further strengthen my theory that he was never going to be able to play after burning off decades of necessary calluses for all his route running footwork/cuts. If he gets signed blindly then expect him to come up limp with "new injury" the first time his new QB throws his way.
