Lowe rehashed it on his own pod today. Said we would be buyers and put our pick in play and try to get a needle moving guy

So we traded CJ, Turner, Harkless, Stauskas, Swanigan, Baldwin, and Collins and ended up with Anthony Davis and Taurean Prince? Sign me up!Nurkic/Leonard

Edit: Or did we trade for Ed Davis and we signed Tayshaun Prince out of retirement?
Why in the world would NYK do that? I mean, they are a poorly managed organization - I'll give you that. But even if Zeke was still calling the shots I don't see why they'd do that.I'm getting the feeling that Kyrie will be traded. He has proclaimed that he will sign an extension, but he really seems like a shit leader. Why does he think they'll offer him a supermax? Ainge is calculating enough to move before it can get worse and he walks for nothing in return. Something like this with picks from BOS and NY going NO's way.

Kyrie is theoretically the hometown kid and if they find a taker for Hardaway, they can open up enough space for KD in the summer. KD and Kyrie in NYC is sick. Why in the world would NYK do that? Hmmm. Okay. I still think it'd be stupid of them to trade a great player (though injured) for a super overrated player they'd have to give a SUPERMAX. Basically, I don't know why anyone would want to trade for Kyrie.Kyrie is theoretically the hometown kid and if they find a taker for Hardaway, they can open up enough space for KD in the summer. And quite a bit or risk involved in maxing KP after he comes back from injury.
Yup. He's a fine bench player, but Terry will NEVER play him as a bench player.
Vonleh was better than Aminu. Vonleh only started when Aminu was injured (and even then, he was only a token starter).I don't believe that for a second. If Neil got Terry someone who was clearly better he would start him over Aminu..... no question.
The problem is that as much as Aminu drives me crazy, he is still the best overall PF on the team. Is he good enough....hell no. But that is on Neil not Terry. Who else have we had on the team that can cover both a stretch 4 and a power 4?
It is frustrating that we have not had anyone better by now. And I agree with those who say start Zach at PF, but it's still debatable that he is better right now. None the less I would give it a shot and bring Chief off the bench. Especially if Jake starts as well. That at least gives us three 3-point shooters along side Nurk and Zach.

If we got another PF that was better than Aminu I think Terry would actually bump Aminu into the starting SF role rather than into a bench role. Maybe not, but that's the feeling I get.
Carmelo Anthony’s NBA career might not be over after all. According to two sources with knowledge of Anthony’s situation, the exiled 10-time All-Star who remains on the Houston Rockets roster has multiple options available and is expected to pick one before the Feb. 7 trade deadline. There is no clarity as to whether he would be traded in these scenarios or waived and subsequently signed, but there are strong signs that he will play in the NBA again.

I ain't bringing that back up.You missed an opportunity to bump the greatest thread. Thanks asshole.
Works for me! The Rockets would obviously have to throw in a 1st rounder to the Bulls but I think they would do this trade. The only wild cards are if Melo would choose to come here and if the Bulls want to add salary for next year in exchange for that 1st rounder (Knight's contract is messed up on ESPN, he has 1 more year).
Did not know that. Ya no way Bulls do this without compensation.Works for me! The Rockets would obviously have to throw in a 1st rounder to the Bulls but I think they would do this trade. I'm guessing the Rockets don't want to add salary beyond this year with how much they are paying Harden/Paul/Capela. It's been rumored for months that they would give their 1st rounder to anyone who would take Knight for an expiring though.Did not know that. Ya no way Bulls do this without compensation.
Another similar candidate is Cleveland instead of Chicago, and Tristan Thompson going Houston's way.

They change his shot a little bit that made a big difference. It to bad our coaching staff couldn't figure it out.No he wasn't. Vonleh couldn't shoot a lick when he was here (scared to miss yips) and here was getting exposed in pick and roll defense. Hated to see him go but even your Aminu hate doesn't make Vonleh a clear upgrade.
CJ for picksBuyers for who? Sellers off what?
