It was pretty funny.

I especially like the part where they admonished the Democrats for talking about taking healthcare away from people, like the people with jobs today.
Just like Obama did to the retirees. Take the retirees healthcare, then go for the people with jobs, like 65% of Americans.
Damn! That is a sure fire winner. Just ask any retired person that remembers the wonderful Obama gift.

What's not being talked about by many people is drug companies are buying gene and stem cell therapy businesses and shelving their research and breakthroughs. It's far more profitable to treat diseases and medical problems throughout someone's lifetime than it is to cure them once and for all.
It helps them target certain demographics based on race, gender, family history and other factors. Many of the genetic tests people do for their own ancestry research are fair game as well. Simply paying for them is consent to disclose your genetic data to the highest bidder.

Was camping and missed debates, who would say won the two?
Thanks,

Just watched all of Yang's moments he got to speak.

I'm sorry but dude killed it. I don't care if you don't believe he can win. He was amazing with the shit he said.....

Cool. So was John Kasich.

The biggest problem with the 2 parties today is that no moderate has a chance to represent the party. The people on the left and right are so determined to get their way they want extreme.

COMPROMISE has completely been thrown to the side.
bingo bango bongo ....Im thinking Gabbard will try and be the one to conciliate the two sides but not from a moderate standpoint necessarily, but being willing to preach the power of unity and compromise, give and take, with respect. She has a nice command about her too, which I think people could respect about her and possibly be open to her lead. Still early however and a whole lot could happen and even something unexpectedly.

His answer about healthcare (current system is hard on employers and employees) was outstanding.

His answer about Detroit was a bit illogical - he bragged about his immigrant dad earning 65 patents with IBM and GE, and then said that auto factory floors are run by robots, and that's not the fault of immigrants. Of course he meant that Guatemalan refugees aren't taking auto jobs, but it sounds like the robots might be the fault of his dad.

Problem with Yang is the whole “everyone gets $1000 a month ” or whatever his plan is. Seems kinda...ridiculous

Well, if the peasants starve, who is going to till the fields?

And what if they storm the castle?

Watch his interview with Joe Rogan. It's explained nicely. And he is nowhere near the first person to bring it up As he said, MLK JR was a proponent.

Alaska has a much smaller comparable thing going on. You get oil money just by being a resident. It seems to have succeeded for decades.

I didn't dislike Kasich. He was one I preferred of the republicans choices. Buttttt, kasich doesn't have the charisma that Yang does imo.

He's a lying piece of crap. You should look at the crazy shit he's done in Ohio.

This is a silly notion.

On immigration, drone strikes et all, there are many things to criticise Obama about. Where the fuck was Biden on the extension of the Bush tax cuts? I'd like to know.

I'll take your word for it. I liked him when he was on the debate stage because he seemed reasonable. Didn't really investigate much tbh.

This is the first year I've tried to stay on top of it all. I like Andrew Yang that much.

Oh he certainly was the least crazy. Look who you had to compare him to:

It’s not about Obama being perfect. He wasn’t. It’s about criticizing an overwhelmingly popular and well liked Democrat during a Democratic “debate”. It’s about how they handle a debate on national tv with a large audience. I think it was a mess. It was stupid. And if they keep it up it plays into Trumps hands. Dumb.

Go back, listen to the moderators questions, and then answer as to whether or not they steered the debate with right wing talking points.

Lol. No it won't.

Buttigieg was right when he said no matter what, Trump is gonna label them all socialists.

Now, when Warren, or Bernie wins, Trump will be a one termer.

I thought so too, but I was actually intrigued when he layed it out in an interview. He made some pretty damn good points about it. One being innovation. Think about all the good ideas you’ve had in your life but didn’t have the time or capital to get them off the ground. If everyone had a just a little more breathing room financially we could all do our little side projects, make some cash with a little side business. Painting, woodworking, crochet, music, whatever the fuck people enjoy in their lives they should be able to do. How many brilliant ideas have we lost to 9-5 jobs and depression? It’s probably a shit ton.

Hillary and Biden are not moderate

Obama and Bill were, but they aren't really today, are they?

You're kidding. The both might as well be Republican.

They're both DINOS. War mongering mass incarcerators.

Honestly, the more of what I saw in the debates the more I kept thinking oh boy, their gonna hand this to Trump again. I hope they pull it together later but kind of made me start preparing myself for another 4 years of this...

How? They have UBI in Alaska right now.

Do your research.

Are you ever not pissy?
It costs $3T a year. I’ve read and heard varying way he plans to pay for this and each time it seems iffy at best that the math works. And isn’t it true that if someone already receives govt assistance that will either reduce or eliminate their payment? So this doesn’t help them?
