You do not know boredom in writing until you've written a 50 page land use application addressing how your project complies with each and every land use regulation and comprehensive plan policy that could remotely be applicable to it.
It's different when you're getting paid to do it.

Who the hell is this Tom Steyer jackass and why is he in the race? I refuse to believe this person is polling and actually has individual donors contributing to his invisible campaign. There is no way average people are supporting this clown, seems really strange to me he just pops up and is making all the debate requirements.

Not following you. I'm a consultant & I get paid for my work.

There you go. Do a good job and the boss will notice which means nice raises. There's the incentive. Getting a good raise is a very very nice feeling.

I’m self-employed so I give myself “raises” whenever the market will bear it. It’s bearing it pretty well right now.

I have to agree. Actually, there are quite a number of good candidates who are now simply not going anywhere including my favorite, Buttigieg ("Mayor Pete").
Looks like it's going to be a runoff between Biden and Warren. I'm happy with either although I think Warren would be a slight favorite with me. And I'm torn because I think Biden has the best chance of beating Trump and that's got to be a factor worth considering.
Lanny, theres a long way to go before the primaries and because someone is ahead now, historically hasn't produced many race over lets vote.
I do see a dark horse that can make it much more competitive.

On this subject you and I are in agreement.

He has a lot of money. He's an actual billionaire. That buys a lot of advertising.

barfo

That buys a lot of advertising.
I guess, but so does the money other candidates get from individual donors. I’ve never even seen a Tom Steyer ad, but have seen them for most other candidates. It just seems off to me.

Interesting. I've seen quite a few of his TV advertisements, but I've read that he's advertising even more heavily on Facebook, which I don't use regularly.

I was a little wrong about Mayor Pete, it looks like he's gained just enough support to qualify as a dark horse. Be still, my beating heart. However, realistically, it's either Biden or Warren. All three are great choices to me.

Glad to see Gabbard make the next debate. She and Klobachar are going to make it tough on EW. Just my gut feeling. Those two are composed, smart, quick and more middle than the one that wants break up Amazon, Google & Facebook and others.

I don’t get the Gabbard love. Don’t like her. I’ll take Warren, Buttigieg, Yang, Klobachar, all ahead of her

People who are against war like her because her main policy is anti intervention. Service members, veterans, etc. Candidates like Warren who voted for Trump’s insane military budget aren’t exactly credible in that area.

I don;t know any candidate that is for war? Do you?

There aren’t many speaking out against it, or even talking about it for that matter.

and so if they don't say they are against war, that means they are pro war? lol, that's pretty ridiculous logic.

She appeals to you but not the typical Democrat.

Voting for bloated defense budgets isn’t exactly anti-interventionist policy.
Trump is such a manic with his finger on the button! Let’s give him some more meddling money.

What were you saying about ridiculous logic?

I think it's time you do some better research as it appears you are buying into all the trump hype. You seem uninformed. Good luck.

Care to be more specific? What points am I misinformed about. Elizabeth Warren voted in favor of increasing Trumps military budget.

You are the only one in the discussion who ever typed the words “pro war”. I never accused anyone of that. I said there are candidates that aren’t anti-interventionist, and their voting records prove it. That doesn’t necessarily mean they are actively cheerleading for war, it just means they don’t care...like you.

If you can’t see the correlation between military spending and interventionism then maybe you shouldn’t be calling other people uninformed.

Go back and read your posts. You may not have used the words " pro war", but you are clearly sending the signals. Do you not realize that? lol.

You twisting people’s comments around so you can debunk them easier is not my problem. I can’t help the fact you don’t understand context and interpret things incorrectly 90% of the time.

All your arguments focus on debunking small insignificant details because you can’t wrap your head around the bigger picture most of the time.

Just say you don’t care. Dem candidates that you like voted for a military budget that will continue war and other interventions, and you don’t give a shit. Just say so, it’s easier than attempting mental gymnastics.
