Shit, I think I should not only be President, but King.

Doesn't mean it is ever going to happen.

I think you are paying too much attention to what you imagine her feelings are, and too little to political reality.

Kamala Harris' dad says parents are 'turning in their grave' over her comments on weed and being Jamaican: report

By Nicole Darrah | Fox News

Kamala Harris says she listened to Snoop Dogg and Tupac Shakur in college, yet their albums came out after she graduated

Sen. Kamala Harris may have made some inaccurate comments about smoking weed in college while listening to Snoop Dogg and Tupac. The 2020 Democratic presidential contender told New York radio hosts she listened to the rappers in college, but both artists hadn’t appeared on an album by the time she finished school.

The father of Sen. Kamala Harris is trying to distance himself from the 2020 Democratic presidential hopeful after she said her pot smoking in college stemmed from her Jamaican heritage.

Harris, D-Calif., told the nationally syndicated radio show "The Breakfast Club" earlier this month that she supports marijuana legalization at the federal level, and acknowledged that she's smoked pot in the past, saying: “I have. And I inhaled. I did inhale.”

KAMALA HARRIS, PUSHING LEGAL MARIJUANA, SAYS SHE SMOKED POT IN COLLEGE: 'AND I INHALED'

The senator re-emphasized her use when asked by the hosts about rumors that she opposes marijuana legalization.

“That’s not true. Look, I joke about it, I have joked about it. Half my family is from Jamaica, are you kidding me?” Harris said, laughing.

Harris' father, Donald, disapproved of the comments, which he told the Jamaica Global Online constituted "identity politics."

"My dear departed grandmothers ... as well as my deceased parents, must be turning in their grave right now to see their family’s name, reputation and proud Jamaican identity being connected, in any way, jokingly or not with the fraudulent stereotype of a pot-smoking joy seeker and in the pursuit of identity politics," he said

Donald Harris continued: "Speaking for myself and my immediate Jamaican family, we wish to categorically dissociate ourselves from this travesty.”

The senator told the radio program: “We need to research the impact of weed on a developing brain” and said measuring how marijuana impairs people who are driving needs to be addressed."

Harris supports a bill — introduced Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey, a rival for the Democratic presidential nomination — that would end the federal marijuana prohibition.

This is absolutely crucial news. You can trust Fox to find the important stuff.

I’ll vote for Tulsi Gabbard if her fellow Dems don’t smear her to death before the generals. Lol. I remember Trump catching a lot of shit for supposedly disrespecting a military family awhile back. All the news outlets that pushed that story now have no problem shamelessly smearing a veteran who served two tours in Iraq. And why? Because she speaks out against war and interventionism. Can’t have dangerous ideas like that presented on “liberal” MSNBC, with their military defense contractor-sponsored content. We’ll return right after this message from Boeing.

Boeing is a great company. I used to work there. It's got a few jerks but every big company has jerks.
One lead engineer wanted me to falsify my time card showing that I worked on projects that I never worked on. I turned him down immediately. I encountered more with my kind of ethics.

People say the same thing about Exxon Mobil and Halliburton. Being a great job for an employee doesn’t change a company’s ethics or agenda.

I haven't worked at those other companies so I don't know. I know about Boeing.
The job I had before Boeing was a defense contractor who cheated regularly. It was my first defense job and I knew nothing about how to fill out a time card. My boss and his boss would tell me what to fill in and like a dumb bunny that's what I did. After I left that job my two bosses got caught by the government and they lost all their benefits.
Then, I left and went to Boeing. The first thing they did was teach me the ethical way to fill out my time card charging my labor to exactly the right charge accounts. Boeing didn't fool around with that.
After leaving the military side of Boeing, I went to work on jumbo jets. A really dedicated hard working groups of engineers, technicians and factory workers.
All the time that I worked at Boeing, I only saw one unethical employee and that was that jerk lead engineer, Ken, whom nobody wanted to work with. Nope, my experience is contrary to your projection of them.
Perhaps you thought I worked with nobodys. No, I was in on some top projects, the Peacekeeper, aka MX, missile, SRAM II (a cruise missile), Rail Garrison (a project to base 50 Peacekeeper missiles on military railroad trains), the V-22 Osprey and the Minuteman missile. I got to participate in some top meetings. After leaving the military side of things and going to jumbo jets I was in on meetings with top brass to improve producability of Boeing's three jumbo jets at the time, the 747, 767 and 777. So, I got around. One boss who I soft line reported to left Boeing and went on the head the design of the national defense of Saudia Arabia just prior to the first Gulf War. There was no hanky panky that I saw or heard about.
Was there any hanky panky at Boeing? Obviously, Ken was committing a felony. I should have turned him in but he talked to me in private and it would have been my word against his. Still, I should have turned him in even though it would have been nothign but heart ache for me. Perhaps some heartache for Ken, which is why I regret not doing it.

I was at the Mukateo plant when they just finished the first 777. That building is spectacular and if someone is looking for a good day tripper go up to Everett and take in Boeings Wide Body plant. Its free!!! They put you on a bus and give you a great tour then out to the runway where they have all the purchased planes lined up waiting for the buyers to come and take delivery. There were maybe 7-8 when I was there.
I was told its largest building in the world by volume. You could actually eat off the floor its so clean.
Id love to see the socialist Cortez go up there and take the tour and get a feel for real Americana...

Bernie is going to win, no doubt.

he will cuck out at the end to the DNC. he can not recover from just taking it in the 2016 primaries.

Probably gonna be Biden + Harris or something like that. Harris has too many iffy issues to be the primary candidate.

I use to work in that building. Did you know they have their own weather in there? And yes, it was the largest building in the world back then and they made it bigger to accommodate the 777. One time I was looking for mockup. Mockup is the area where they have a jumbo jet fuselage for each model without the wings so they can try out stuff to see if it fits such as wiring harnesses. I knew roughly what area Mockup was in and still couldn't find it. Mockup alone would be a large building in itself. I had to ask directions to find mockup, that's how big that building is. I believe the tail of a 747, aka vertical stabilizer, is 130 feet off the ground.

Back when I worked there they had very very few tours go thru.

My last couple days of working at Boeing, I spent wandering that building just so I could burn it into my memory. I put a lot of hard work into building those planes. Working in that building is going to ruin you if you're not in good physical condition. There's a lot of walking around, climbing up and down long staircases and clambering around inside half built airplanes. I would go back to the office sweating profusely.

Very proud of what I did both in the military part and the airplane part of the company. Got a lot done.

One time I got into a friendly argument with a mechanic who had worked there ten years. I had just started in the airplane side of things having just 6 mos. of experience doing that. We were going over a drawing that had 'F' size drawings and about 1,100 sheets. We spent the better part of a day trying to figure out the hydraulics. Well, he was confused on the hydraulics. After nearly the entire day he said that I was right and we had to tear out the entire hydraulics and put in the ones I contended were the correct ones. That felt really good.

Another time, they installed the wrong landing gear. I fixed that, too.

There were always dozens of little problems that I got to fix.

I use to work in that building. Did you know they have their own weather in there?

Well, when it was built, the building was so massive, rain clouds were said to have accumulated near the roof. But, this plant and probably most other plants that build planes, have a built in circulation system to keep moisture out of the air. Airplanes are composed of millions of components, and the last thing you want is for them to rust.

Amy Klobuchar reportedly ordered staffer to clean comb after she used it to eat salad

Amy Klobuchar allegedly mistreated staffers, sees difficulty getting team for 2020 run: report

Democratic presidential candidate Amy Klobuchar on Friday faced fresh accusations of belittling staffers, with a new report relaying a bizarre allegation that she'd berated a staff member for failing to bring her a fork with her salad.

The alleged confrontation, as reported by The New York Times, got weird.

According to the newspaper, the aide who neglected to get plastic utensils for Senator Klobuchar, D-Minn., committed the affront at an airport while traveling to South Carolina in 2008. Klobuchar not only chastised the aide, but reportedly proceeded to eat the salad using a comb from her bag -- then handed the comb to the aide and told him to clean it.

The anecdote swiftly became social media fodder late Friday, but also added to the many claims of Klobuchar demeaning staff members over the course of her Senate career.

A spokesperson for Klobuchar did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment on the Times article, which contained other accounts of the senator tearing into staff.

According to the report, former aides said she was "not just demanding, but often dehumanizing."

Another recent report said Klobuchar often criticized staffers and directed them to “only speak when spoken to” at events. The Huffington Post reported that the conduct got to a point that then-Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., told her to change her behavior.

During an interview with Fox News' Bret Baier last week, though, Klobuchar said she spoke with Reid, and “he doesn’t remember that and I don’t remember that either.”

But according to a Buzzfeed News report, numerous staffers said Klobuchar routinely sent late-night emails and berated subordinates over minor details and missteps. The report also said, "one aide was accidentally hit with a flying binder, according to someone who saw it happen, though the staffer said the senator did not intend to hit anyone with the binder when she threw it."

When asked about the report that she threw a binder, she did not flat-out deny it.

"I don't know, it's all anoymous. I will say that I'm proud of our staff," Klobuchar told Fox News last week. "And yes, I can be a tough boss, and push people -- that's obvious. But that's because I have high expectations of myself, I have high expectations of those who work for me, and I have a high expectation for our country. My chief of staff has worked for me for six years, my state director for seven years, my campaign manager for 14 years."

Asked specifically whether she had thrown a binder at someone, Klobuchar responded: "If you look at that story, I think you'll see it said something about me throwing a binder down -- not at somebody," Klobuchar said. "I just know that I should be judged, and I will take responsibility for, everything that happens on this campaign."

She’s a frickin’ Girl Scout next to Trump. And the right pisses and moans about how scurrilous the media is towards Republicans. Pot meet kettle. Right now Klobuchar is far and away the most qualified Democratic candidate in the race and this kind of hit piece illustrates just how seriously the Republicans take her viability. I worked 26 years for a boss that makes Ms. Klobuchar look like Casper Milquetoast. It made me a better employee, which in turn made him a more effective employee. If Klobuchar has a fault it’s that she hired too many underachievers in need of safe spaces. IMHO she’s the perfect foil to take on an asshole like Trump. Bring it on.
