I'm liking Tim Ryan

I think he if he doesn't win the nomination he will be a likely running mate.

He is from Ohio and relates to the blue collar workers in the midwest. He can hurt Trump more than Trump can hurt him.

Yup. I have a friend who grew up in iowa that was very conservative that loves him and his platform like me, generally a moderate.

He doesn't get baited. Sticks to the facts. Explains himself well.
 
Here's my current handicapping/preference list.

Yes, I know nobody asked.

I also know it's very early and things will change.

I'm going to be vigorously supporting one of these candidates in the 2020 general, and even though I like some of them more than others, every one of them is acceptable to me so far (well, other than Messem and Williamson - I literally know nothing about those two).

Category Y: Y is for Y are they running? These people are unlikely to ever get their campaign off the ground and will drop out after the first couple of primaries, if not before
Bennet, Delaney, Gabbard, Hickenlooper, Messem, Moulten, Ryan, Williamson, Yang

Category H: H is for Help, as in if they get some, then they can be competitive. But right now they are closer to Y than C
Castro, Gillibrand, Inslee, Swalwell

Category O: O is for old. I recognize that these are the frontrunners now, but I'm expecting all three to fade (but compete all the way). We'll see if I'm right.
Biden, Sanders, Warren

Category C: C is for Contender.
Booker, Buttigieg, Harris, Klobuchar, O'Rourke

How can you say Klobuchar is a contender but Yang isn't? Yang is polling about the same.

I think putting Yang in Category Y is pretty ill informed. He will show well during the debates.

You could be right.

Debates haven't happened yet. I certainly wouldn't rule out Yang catching fire from the debates and becoming a contender at that time.

Really, all they need is someone with big hands. just straight up go palm to palm with trump at the debate and then "next question" to a standing ovation.

There definitely is a path for Bernie to win, but his support doesn't seem to be increasing. If I were Bernie I'd be a little bit worried about that. Then again, maybe it's just people sowing wild oats with new candidates and they'll come home to Bernie in the end?

Watched Bernie’s tap dancing on his FOX NEWS town hall and then again on Fake News cnn with town halls for the pathetic cowards who turned down invites from FOX.

They sealed their fate. No intelligent citizen wants a timid leader who visibly fears the legitimate questions and concerns of half of our country. If you can’t hold your own against a few questions from the people whom you are asking to put their lives in your hands, you have no prayer of getting elected.
Bernie was wise to go on FOX and apparently was allowed to select the entire audience from his base supporters.
Sadly he refused to offer any details on where he will find the $30,000,000,000,000, even though it’s really his only hope to win the primary.

Deep State Groping Joe Biden will announce tomorrow, and the floodgates of sexual assault and pedophilia claims will swing open, bringing shame to his family and public focus on fighting pedophilia by the New World Order Deep State, which includes the Catholic Church.

Bernie seems to so far have no legitimate competition and after selling out to the Deep State at the primary is the Deep State favorite after Groping Joe but would get crushed by Trump.

I fully expect Hillary to glom on as his VP.
 
Bernie is weak as fuck, I remember when he was in Seattle, some BLM girls basically kicked him off his own stage and he took it like a little bitch.

 
Bernie, Hillary, Biden....if the dems put their money behind any of these candidates Trump will celebrate.....usually when you blow up the team you get new players with some shelf life. I don't want people my age running for president....we should be on the bench with bags of ice on our knees waving flags and telling stories of youth and accomplishments. The future is for the young...it's too late for my generation to fix fuck all. They should all go play golf and rub shoulders with their cronies.

They need a young red carpet celebrity with no political experience...a George Clooney or Tom Hanks …..the Reagan appeal. Someone you'd actually cast as a president because they could actually play the part....instead we got Pee Wee Herman as prez
