Patty Mills with the game winning buzzer beater!

Thybulle was very good too, 3/3 from downtown, a few good dunks, and very disruptive on defence.

Good grief. How embarrassing. The US should have mopped the floor with Nigeria.

So... Vaccines? Why no Olympics?
Japan is not well vaccinated. They are a fairly isolated country and expect a lot of outsiders who can and will bring the disease.

Australia resting players against Nigeria. Mills, Ingles, Baynes, and Dellavedova not suited up.

Nigeria is in our group, so I think we don’t want them to get used to playing against our starters.

Australia resting 4/5ths of our starters up 26-13 at quarter time against a full strength Nigeria.

Josh Green looking good. Giddey playing well, wish he was in the Olympic squad, not just the training camp squad.

Double ouch, lol.

I had a Dream where I won the Gold Medal in Jump Roping. I jump rope, but not great. And it's not an Olympic Activity. But it was in that Dream. Ridonculous.

U.S. Women's Gymnastics Team Member Tests Positive for Coronavirus Days Before Olympics

With just days to go until the Tokyo Olympics begin, an unidentified member of the U.S. women's gymnastics team has tested positive for COVID-19.

Hard to believe how many of these athletes were more concerned about rumored side-effects of the vaccines than they were about getting Covid. What a shame.

I'm going to be honest, the only events I will probably actually watch are basketball and maybe skateboarding. The latter shouldn't even really be an Olympic event, but who cares.
