Keegan has yet to play a regular season game. Would he have been as hot from deep as he was the first time we played them? Doubtful. I wish he was playing because I expect him to be nervous in his first real game.

I'm seriously concerned about the new partnerships of gambling with sports and the constant promotion of it on the internet and TV. I think a couple years from now we will be talking about sports gambling addictions, epidemic of bankruptcies and destroyed lives.

I'm a liberal so in a way that resonates....but I also believe in personal freedom and accountability. I suppose in this case that could be distilled to "Freedumb is better than the Nanny State". I do agree with those saying that the State of Oregon shouldn't be promoting this shit; which probably means the state shouldn't have a vested interest

it's only slightly related, but I remember a big study, quite a few years ago. I think it was by MIT and NYU. It was measuring emotional responses to investment outcomes in the stock markets. What they found was that people had a much more emotionally intense negative reaction to losses than the intensity of their positive reactions to gains. Basically, winning didn't register as highly on whatever intensity meter(s) they were using as the losses did. I can believe that because while I remember some of the times I picked stocks that had substantial gains, I REALLY REALLY REALLY remember the stupid fucking losing bets I made

Kinda similar to how people in here get more angry about Blazer losses than they get happy/excited about Blazer wins.

IMO--it's all about expectation. When you invest money, you expect to make money, because that's the whole point of investing in the first place. I think that if you expect to lose when you gamble on sports, then you'll actually have the opposite reaction--losing will just be meeting expectation, and winning will be a pleasant surprise.

I think we win easily tonight.

PTB - 124
Sac - 113

The good news about this team if we ended up as a garbage team. We only have 1 HOF compared to the Lakers who have 3.

GPII is the new Steve Blake

Really though, why do we do that? Do other teams do that just as much?

Where’s Harkless at, LAC still?

Better yet, where’s Martell?

Houston

I just hope I don’t have to see too much of Greg Brown out there. He acts like a puppy dog on the court

More like the tasmanian devil

Where is our city edition Jersey this year?

Wanna see Sharpe get some time and this team show some chemistry.

Too much of preseason was guys running a play to run a play (often poorly) and not making smart and aggressive basketball decisions within the play.

Not a huge fan of Hart starting but interested to see how that group looks. Like Winslow in that spot more so hoping he gets the first call off the bench tonight. He plays really well off Dame and Nurk and his easily the best defender of the 3 options

He can do that from the 4 as well, which I think with Watford out is where he will get his minutes tonight.

Im going to attempt to watch this on the plane. Dont let me down, united.

And thanks tmobile for the free wifi

Billups is going to allow his guys to just play, on the O side, but if a player isn't pulling weight on D thats an issue.
He knows he must outscore if we don't score 120 some points?

If we win tonight, fist 6 game prediction will be 2-4.

Every year teams say they're going to run the ball more, pass more and rebound harder. Has a coach ever said "our goal is to score more points than the other team?" That's what I'd like to hear. I don't care how they do it.
"Our goal this season is to try to put the ball through the basket as often as possible, while doing our best to prevent opponents from doing the same."
