As long as everyone else is healthy it is fine. In my mind, we have 6 players who need minutes at the two guard positions and SF.
A 5 player rotation works well. (Dame, Ant, Hart, SS, and Nas)

It is the depth of this team, which allows for so many rotational players to be out, and that's a good thing.
I highly doubt, some of the games missed this season, would have been missed in years past. The talent just wasn't there.
They can afford to sit guys who have nagging "ow-ees" this year, and in the process, develop the 8-12th men at the middle/end of the bench.
They are doing this. And winning.
It is not a problem. In fact, it is a strength of this team.

I hope you're right about this.

it's a little worrisome about Nurkic; abductor strains can take several weeks to fully heal

Wow Winslow misses tons a games every year. No wonder nobody wanted him

Dame, Ant, and Hart can give him 5 minutes each until he earns more

GP can take some of Dames minutes. Save him for the playoffs. If he can play like he did in GS and all is healthy he could help make Hart more of a tradable asset by trade deadline.

Winslow was sick. He's fine and will be playing.
rotowire says an ankle injury
Tabbed questionable Tuesday

Winslow (ankle) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Spurs, Sean Highkin of RoseGardenReport.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The forward was a late scratch for Saturday's loss to Dallas with an ankle injury, and that might be the case as well for Tuesday. Nassir Little and Trendon Watford will likely see an uptick in minutes if Winslow is held out for a second straight.

Listed “Illness” both here and on the Blazers site?
Interesting. Guess it could be ankle?

Any update on Sarr? Not counting on a lot from him, but it is size that we desperately need. Plus, he shows some good defensive instincts, and the ability to stretch the floor.

I doubt the back-to-back will affect them. They are young, they are at the beginning of their road trip, and they got blown out in the 3rd quarter last night so the starters did not end up playing a lot of minutes.

Many times when a team shoots poorly one night they shoot better the next night. They were 10 for 40 last night from three.
We could still blow them out, but I doubt the reason will be because of the back-to-back.

I hope Sharpe gets more minutes and touches tonight. I am baffles why we don’t run more plays for him to get free slashing to the rim. It annoys me to watch them have Sharpe camp in the corner while we watch Ant go 1 on 3 (often with Sharpe open and never receiving a pass).

Question, do y’all see what I see that Ant refuses to pass to Sharpe when he’s open? Ant has had some worrying ball hogging tendencies, but he seems to be especially reluctant to get Sharpe the ball despite the two of them sharing the floor a lot. Meanwhile, Dame seems to actively look fro Sharpe.

So do you think Ant is freezing out Sharpe, or just being a bit of a ball hog in general?

My personal opinion is Ant is calling his own number too often AND he seems threatened by Sharpe and doesn’t want to get him the ball.

If you think this is really true, then you should put the blame on Chauncey. I don't see what you are seeing. IMO I think you and others want SS to explode on the scene so badly...... that you are creating a false narrative. I am sure there are a few examples of Ant not passing to every player when they were open (as it is for most ball handlers on every team) and quite frankly Ant is more of a combo guard than a true PG, but to think that Ant is intentionally freezing him out seems to me to be tin foil hat crazy.

I’ve seen Ant miss Sharpe open at least 20+ times. I don’t feel that way at all when Hart, Lillard or Winslow run the point. If it were paranoia and desire to see Sharpe explode I’d blame them all equally. It’s a pattern I’ve noticed with Ant specifically.

I think your take is rose colored welder’s mask level denial of an obvious truth. See how that aspersion adds nothing?
