Nurk was solid down the stretch. Perfect from the line. Some big boards too when it counted. Offense was rough; had Dame not gone supernova in the first half it would have been a blowout.
Nas was looking like his old self. Looking forward to seeing GPII and Watford getting in there too.
But Eubanks has to be replaced by someone who isn't in the rotation so he doesn't really count. I actually think we keep playing all of the guys that are currently in rotation and add GP2 when he comes back until we make a consolidation trade. All of these guys are capable NBA rotation players that should have value to other NBA GMs and you wouldn't want to ruin that value by taking them out of the rotation. So at some point I see a trade coming but you don't cut the PT or Dame, Ant, Hart, Grant, Nurk, Winslow, Little or Sharpe and you actually need another guy with size to play with these guys and to get GP2 PT once he's well.Nurk did miss his last FT in OT, but I'll take 8-9 any day.
We can't have an 11 man rotation. What guys do you want out of the rotation? Eubanks and...?

Tony Snell.I don't know who to take out of the rotation, but it's nice to finally not have out-right bums in the rotation.
There are a few who aren't great (Drew comes to mind), and a few that are still needing some fine tuning (mostly Little and Sharpe)...but all in all, it's not like the team has an obvious Anthony Tolliver/Mario Hezonja type craphead coming off the bench.
Consolidation trade? We’re required to have a certain amount of players. We already have one spot open. No need for trade. Just play the best players. But Eubanks has to be replaced by someone who isn't in the rotation so he doesn't really count. All quietly taking off their Sharpe jerseys and putting it back in the closet.Where all the Nurk haters now?
Then why did you pick them to only win 39 games?Great win by the way. Love the scrap of this squad.

I miss those years where in the preseason, we'd hear we had one of the deeper benches in the league because we had Harry Giles, Melo, Kanter, and Rodney Hood (who are all out of the league 2 years later).
Duh.Guys, Josh Hart is better than Norm Powell. Just sayin
Yeah. I do not get the Eubanks hate, either.I like Eubanks. I think he’s doing a good job.

Blazers 2-0
Suns 1-1
Heat 0-2
I tried to tell you.
Or predicting 23 wins? All quietly taking off their Sharpe jerseys and putting it back in the closet.
Just sat down at home…I was a bit busy tonight. How did the 2nd coming of Michael Jordan do in his 2nd career game? Let me go check the “Trade Dame and Start Sharpe” thread real quick.
Oh hell yeah. Josh Hart is a keeper.Guys, Josh Hart is better than Norm Powell. Just sayin
And then predicting the exact wins the next season?Or predicting 23 wins?
The idea would be to consolidate all of the talent that we've acquired in perimeter players to buoy up our lack of size in the front court after Nurk. Even Grant is a smallish PF. So we need effective size in the front court that does different things than Nurk does. The guy we get needs to move quicker and probably stretch the floor on offense. Right now on the perimeter we have Dame, Ant, will have GP2, Hart, Sharpe, Justise and Nas. I realize some of those guys can play small ball 4 but none of them are going to be effective as a small ball 5 and Grant isn't either. We need a guy who has size and mobility to backup Nurk and hopefully who has the versatility to backup Grant. I don't know who I'd give up and I think the FO is watching now to see who works the best together and will know closer to the new year who they will shop to add effective size with skills that complement what we have and make up for what we lack.Consolidation trade? If I were him Id have a scathing novel ranting and mocking his predictions with an occasional pressings of the CAPS LOCK button.HCP had us going 1-9 lol
