Houston is "Tanking"?
4-3 in the last 7 and beat the Suns twice. Not sure they are very good at this tanking thing?
They did lose to the Nuggets 8 games ago. So maybe that has some significance?

Im pretty sure Houston knows they suck and yeah. Cellar dwellers typically start tanking early.
Not swayed. Not concerned. Not saying it will be easy, but absolutely doable and i think it will happen.

Houston game will be really tough. 2nd night of back to back on the road; and Houston, in their last 7 games, has beat Phoenix twice and also Milwaukee and Philly.

Got to like the Blazers in this game. Dallas not very good against the spread and we are good against the spread. I would take the -3.5 Dallas is given and take the blazers. I think we have better overall team and balance as well versus Dallas.

dinwiddie appeared in the clutch last game and handled us the L, hopefully nothing similar happens this time, with him or anyone else

nurk should eat this game, powell is not a center & wood cant handle nurk, kleber is out, so id like to see us going to nurk early to see if he gets it going and if he does, keep doing whats working

I love his game! Don’t have to run a play for him yet he still makes an impact for us.

Not sure if its the reason or not but in another thread billups said something along the lines of that payton has had the injury a few times before and that its more a mental block of feeling ready than it is a physical one, which anyone whos played a sport at a decent level and had a injury that requires surgery... it can really get to your head.... add in a injury thats happened before more than once and you can see how itd be hard to get through some barriers.
