Just putting it out there but Shaedon is for real. He doesn't play too far outside of himself. When he scores it's special almost every time. While we need to keep winning, I love it that Chauncey is getting this young dude PT and his teammates are getting him touches and quality looks.

There's a lot to be excited about right now. GO BLAZERS!!!
 
I took a bunch of heat in the offseason from Blugget fans for saying I thought the Blazers could finish ahead of Denver. They've got Jokic. They've got Porter. They've got Jamal Murray coming back.

You know what they don't have? Defenders.

Yeah, they're going to outscore a lot of teams because they have elite offensive players. But they're like the Alex English Nuggets on the other end of the floor.

Who plays defense for them? And don't say Aaron Gordon, because they Blazers wore him out tonight.

The democracy of this team at sharing the rock is amazing given the mix of rooks and vets..I credit the coaching staff for this culture. They play together

Little and Sharpe with 11 a piece on top of the damage the starters did.

....and still no GP2, Watford, and Winslow didn't play tonight.

Not to jump ahead, but this team could get really fun to watch as they grow. The opportunity is there.

Damian Lillard and Chauncey Billups are two of the greatest leaders in the history of this game. It'll be exciting to see what a team can do with a lot of talent and skill being led by these two men.
