no its cuz billups insists on grant guarding the PG.
That is problematic and it's a very visible problem but when neither of your super small guards is capable of stopping the ball when it crosses half court, you have some difficult decisions to make.

The refs aren't the reason for our deficit but they sure haven't helped. The bigger team (which is always our opponent) has constantly knocked our guys down and not heard a whistle. Not cool but we haven't made it close enough to matter.

We just got beat, bruh

we need more talent I hate to say it. But it’s obvious . And we would’ve still got beat even with Nurk. He really hasn’t been any kind of difference maker for us

Crushed in the 4th....again. This is disheartening.

Yep

I cringe when I see this Butler kid. Life seems much more difficult when you’re that frail

We need more talent... I agree completely and it's why I think if we're going to keep Dame we have to guarantee Chicago that pick and infuse this roster with talent by trading away as many future draft picks as possible to get more talent. That being said, we do have more talent than our record or this score would have you believe. The talent just doesn't fit together or with Chauncey's system. Trades need to be made and it needs to happen in the next dozen days.

This game is a great example of Portland’s Achilles’ Heel. No one can pick up the slack when Lillard is a little off. The truth is, apart from Lillard, we have a team of very average players. Run your eye down our roster and ask yourself if any of our players other than Lillard are really any better than the average NBA player at their position. I think the answer is no.

Koloko coming deep off the bench tonight. What an embarrassment of riches.

In
This is my team. I will stand by them and root for them regardless of the situation. That being said, this roster is fucking terribly constructed and although it's not championship level talent it is playoff level talent that is less than the sum of it's parts.

Moves need to be made but regardless of if they are or are not I will be here rooting for my team.
September you could tell this team was the #10 team in the west. This should really not be surprising anyone.

Very tough to win a game when you can only score 7 points in the first 10 mins of the game. Falling behind 20+ points in the first quarter is not a recipe for success.

I’m fine with not winning another game this season. Separation has started and we’re on the outside looking in. Wemby is too good to not try for.

Yep.

Lamar trying to hold the team accountable for tonight's loss but as Calabro counters, this team that isn't good enough as is, was playing without two of it's starters and it's only rotational player anywhere close to 7 feet tall.

Getting drilled by a team that is 4th from the bottom in the East, on the 2nd of a back-to-back, in the middle of a long road trip......not much fun.

Siakam and FVV didn't have a ton of points, but you could feel their effect on the game.

OK Mr. Cronin. This is shitty and it's not just because Josh and Nurk were out... it's just shitty. So what are you going to do about it? You're the only one that can do anything, so what are you going to do???

Yet, Anounoby would’ve most likely had more of an impact on the game than both of them combined.

Got it down to 4 fucking points and blew the comeback by allowing a 14-0 run. That is simply not acceptable. You cannot allow that to happen and I don't care how many timeouts you have to call. I am not a huge Billups guy, just not feeling it.

Realistically, what can he do? He wasn't dealt the greatest hand.
