If there is a team to throw him out against it would be the Rockets. I agree with you there.
Yeah, seeing that their 19-year-old rookie has started from day 1 and is playing 32 minutes per game.

I won’t be surprised if Denver finishes 4th in the NW Division. Division is tough this year. Minnesota improved a lot since they drafted Anthony Edwards. Even without this off-season they were on their way up. Utah didn’t do so horribly in the off-season even though they lost Gobert and Mitchell. Lauri Markannen is legit.
I will be surprised

The Nuggets will bounce back from their bad start. They already are. I could see them finishing higher than 4. They are a good team. They have defense issues though that could continue to hurt them.

Utah is interesting. They could continue to be good or like the Suns a few years back, start really good and then fizzle out, once teams figure them out.

I bet they also trade their good role players before the trade deadline. Ainge doesn't fuck around when it comes to tanking. Clarkson and Conley are gone. And probably others as well.

Different situation. Their 19 year old rookie was arguably a lock for the #1 pick down the stretch right? On a team that will end up with one of the worst record in the league right? They don’t have 2 or 3 vets making 300+MILLION dollars ahead of him in the rotation right?

The question I asked was how many games did you say the Blazers would win "to start the season", as in the first 8 games.
Anyway, 40 games isn't out of the range I would expect them to win for the entire season, though that would be the bottom of my range.

Shouldn't GP2 be ready to be reevaluated by now?

He's reconditioning. I think he is still out for today's game. Maybe next Wednesday he will return.

Yep, him and Dame both out tonight. Probably already mentioned, Dame's out 1-2 weeks.

For us non gamblers with kids and bills…. What does this mean sir?
My understanding if you bet the spread you are giving Houston 4 points. The -180 means that you have to bet 180 to win 100 if you are not betting spread.

So we are favored to win? Sorry.
Yes we are favorred to win just like we were almost the reverse betting with the bookies on the Miami game. Betting the spread is difficult especially with last second shots. I am always impressed how on a game to game basis they are correct on the winning side. But hence giving points on a bet and having to bet more than 100 to win a 100 evens the odds of making money. There is also the juice. I believe that if the odds were perfectly even on the 100 you would still have to pay 110 to win 100. This is referred i believe as the juice which makes money for house usually no matter who wins. However betting on a season for a championship is always a crap shoot in my opinion due to injuries during the season. If you are betting on Houston you are + and your 110 bet would get you back 158 plus your 100 for a total of 258.

Clearly the moneyline. I wonder when the last O/U in the 180's was? 2004 Pistons?
