Thybulle can't throw a rock into the ocean. Offense matters or we'd have kept the Amini/Mo/Turner trio. All three of those were much more dynamic on offense than Matisse.

6ers are contending thus year and he was irrelevant 3rd string. Maybe he could be a 10th man that plays situationally for very short minutes. Which is what, the definition of a scrub?

There are definitely times when it feels that the only way things will get better is if they magically get the #1 pick.

I just don't think they will be able to make any major trades that will change the course of the franchise going forward, and I'm not sure (outside of #1, or at worst/best, a top 3 pick) anyone in the draft will make things better.

That's not to say that there aren't potential stars in the top 7 picks, just that there are really only 3 that are positions of need (and one of them has a legal issue to be concerned about, and the other one isn't exactly the position of need, as much as he could potentially be a SF).

They'll still be small and unbalanced.

This is one reason why I can totally understand why the tanking is frustrating. But really, the alternative (based in reality) just isn't worth it. Making the playoffs this year would be almost the worst thing possible because they lose the pick. Even if losing the pick opens up future picks to be traded, I'm not so sure that they'll be able to combine their assets into a player that will make a difference.
 
Wow! Just think about the fact that these last two teams have worse records than all of the other teams we play the rest of this season besides the Spurs. There are going to be some even uglier games than this one.

It stinks, but that is the way the NBA is, so you play the 'game'. If you can get to a top-5 and increase your chance to get a #1 and a Top-4, at this point, you do it. It is the best chance this franchise has of getting better anytime soon.

It won't be long.....

i know. but we are not building any good habits. it feels like shaedon is not getting any coaching out there at all.

losing is fine. we are just rolling over and dying.
