I’ve been wanting Payton since he entered NBA he brings that intangible defense that we need while still having some ok offense. Love to have hum
People have been screaming for defense forever and now are like ‘meh GP2 only plays defense”
I mean look at Steve Kerr as a player. He wasn’t really a PG. He was just a guy who would watch hall of famers doing their thing waiting for the kick out for 3.

We did have him when he entered the NBA. We just didn’t think he was worthy.
Yeah Steve was never athletic enough to beat anyone off the dribble, but being the all time NBA leader in 3 pt% apparently was a marketable skill as he played 15 years in the league.

He's revered as a great shooter sure, but as a player? At his best he was an effective role player on offense spreading the court with his deep ball threat but always a liability on D. He made a big shot for the Bulls winning a championship, which he's remembered for, but he's no more revered then Hodges or John Paxton.Oh he was a great shooter and definitely had his niche.
But had he not play with the Bulls dynasty I don’t think he’d be as revered as he is as a player.
Liability on D? Where’d you get that from? He was a great defender, even when he played for us.He's revered as a great shooter sure, but as a player? What a dumb thing to do in a contract year. I hope no one signs him and he’s banned from the league.
Yeah I heard like a knee and hip replacement at the same time last year or something? Had to do with being in the military years ago

Why does it need to be shared here? Do you want your medical info shared here publicly?
Marang wants everything he does shared publicly...it's why he tweeted it...last few times I've listened to him he's had allergies, surgeries and pain killer complaints...I only know this because Danny makes all that very public. Reminds me of my late father in law...loved to talk about health issues all the time. Would ask me to take him to the doctor almost daily just so he could chat with other patients about their issues and compare his. He's no Norm McDonald about that stuffWhy does it need to be shared here? Do you want your medical info shared here publicly?
Yes.
I’ll reference you to heat stroke thread and J pouch threads in the OT section.
He literally just tweeted his medical info to the world at large. Why does it need to be shared here? Do you want your medical info shared here publicly?
Yeah I suspect Hart and or Sharpe will be dealt. Positionally you would think for a forward.Hollllyyyyy shit.
Something else has gotta be happening. This makes no sense otherwise.
