Because Jerami Grant gets paid 35 million per year...that's unfortnately what usually drives minutes.
Well, actually he's around 27 million.

That would be the ballers only meetingSo Shaedon having a meeting with just himself?
Looked like a clown show.
it was a bad sub out. Jabari was doing damage. Magic increased their 2 point lead to 10.Because Jerami Grant gets paid 35 million per year...that's unfortnately what usually drives minutes.

tonight? They definitely don't look like they have a direction of a direction or rudder, but they looked better than they did against the Clippers.
But I guess looking like shit isn't significantly better than looking like crap.
I just wish Brogdon was 5 years younger. I really don’t think we will keep him past trade deadline.Brogdan and Ayton made it reespectable at the end. Chuancey doesn't seem to know what to do with Ayton but Brogdan seems to know how to set him up
I'm also really disappointed in Thybulle too, he has been such a non-factor. Wouldn't be surprised if Sharpe starts over him once Ant is back (also wouldn't be surprised if Sharpe doesn't because then our bench scoring is basically Brogdon).
Ayton played well.
Sharpe played well.
Jabari played well.
Brogdon is good.
I just really don't want to see anymore Grant. Rather just play Camara and Walker.
People should really remember that the Sixers got basically jack shit for Thybulle. They dumped him.
Blazer fans were headed for the exits with 4 minutes left in the game. I think they'd seen enough "improvement" for the night. On a positive note, the team did improve it's play from the Clippers game.
So while they have the excuse of Anfernee being hurt, I don't think that's necessarily why they lost. They *might* have won if he was healthy, but I don't think his health makes Scoot all the sudden calm the hell down and stop forcing shit...and I don't think it means that Grant doesn't force stuff (as much), and I don't think it means that they end 3 of the 4 quarters poorly.
There's zero direction and plan. They don't look like a team that knows any plays or better yet, has any. No movement, no cuts, back cuts, no screens, no rotations, nothing.
imho, Chauncey should be on about a 10 game probation. You can't tell me that they can't have gotten SOME kind of offensive flow going in 4 pre-season games, 9 days between the end of the pre-season and the regular season opener and then (at that point) 10 games into the season.
Yes they're young, but so is Orlando. They looked significantly crisper (and even they looked like shit at times).

So, 0-10 is as far as it should get before something is done?
Let's be fair it would be him and Brogdon. So Shaedon having a meeting with just himself?
It'd be nice to see a game where Ayton gets 15 shots. I hope Chauncey can work that into the offense.
Yes. And only that long because they are young and Simons is hurt. But if they're still playing like this 10 games into the season...
Think of it this way....Shaedon showed obvious signs of growth after almost every game last year. Sometimes he'd show growth *in* game.
What growth has the team shown in the 6 games they've played this season (pre-season and regular)?
Let's be fair it would be him and Brogdon.
I haven't seen much growth. We still haven't beaten an NBA team in those 5 games.
The 76ers have the record for the worst 82 game record at 9-73. We might beat that.
oh, the Blazers are bad, but they aren't that bad.
I think Shaedon is the only one consistently trying to when he's running the offense. I think more importantly we're not running enough actions with Ayton seriously involved even as the second option and none with him as the first option. If we did, Brogdon would be setting the table for Ayton and so would Shae but we haven't yet.He really doesn't. Ayton got points off rebounds and putbacks. Not assists. Nobody is getting him the ball.
oh, the Blazers are bad, but they aren't that bad.
Sadly this is true. I thought he'd bounce back against the Magic. They're really not that good.
