Houston has a local retirement home arts and crafts dance team.

Holton throwing the Rockets monitors around.

Ant in double digits
The guy he's supposed to guard has 18

Houston announcer:

"You come around a pick and you are wide open. Portland doesn't play defense or fight through any screens. This is a great team to get right against."

What a legacy by Cronin/Billups.

Shiiit! The Jalen Green the Rockets were hoping they would get when they drafted him decided to show up tonight.

Good shot by Jabari

It feels like that's been our legacy for almost a decade... getting stuck on screens and not closing out.

Ayton cleaning up the messy offense
10 points

This team hasn't tried to fight through a screen, or hedge it, in a long time. At the first sign the other team even thinks about an on ball screen and we've already switched. Gotta love all those mismatches.

6 point game at half. Enjoy the good action until Cronin hits the paper shredder

I've noticed over the last couple of games that Ayton's screens have been way more effective. I think as far as screens go, it's just taking Deandre a little time to get down the timing of the guys he's screening for.

I don't understand how they haven't been instructed to fight through screens or even don't just innately know to do it. It's elementary.

Funny how that happens when Anfernee Simons is guarding you...
That's been the case for years with our guards. When it was CJ, Dame and Ant it was inevitable the other team's guards would have great numbers. That's one of my favorite things about this team. Aside from Ant, we have some pretty good defense out front.
