He kicked at the ball...

I finally went back and watch the play. I don't think this is a kick ball. He goes up in the air, his legs go out, the ball is knocked loose, and goes off his leg. I don't think it was intentional.

I haven’t watched a ton of Bucks basketball, but it seems like Giannis’ ego is getting in the way of them being great. I’m sorry but there are very few circumstances where that dude should be initiating the offense instead of Dame. He should not have had the ball at the end. Bucks fans say he’s shit at PNR and setting screens. I know Dame isn’t shooting well but I put the blame on Giannis.

We will be undefeated on national TV this season
Might want to wait until after the trade deadline to make that kind of statement. If Jimmy Butler gets traded to Portland there might be another chance? Lebron? Okay small chance but still a chance.

Are GM's allowed to talk to other teams' players?

Dame is still mad at the wrong guy, and it's answers like this that make me feel he's lying when he says he would think about coming back to Portland or that it's "home".

He's not being honest with himself.

Even if they are allowed to talk, what percentage of players traded do you think continue a report with the GM that traded them? I’m betting it’s less than 10%.

Don’t overthink it.

Certainly didn’t look like an MVP caliber player to me.

Dame doesn't really have the right to be bitter in my view. He demanded a trade, we traded him to a top team.
what if he really wanted to stay and would have if we traded the pick, even if the trade didn’t net us an all star caliber player? He can’t say he would have rather stayed now. That would look really bad for Milwaukie. But what if, inside he holds beef because that is what he really wanted, was told that would happen and then it didn’t?

for the record, I think Joe did the best he could, but just sayin…

This type of atmosphere, this type of national exposure, sure would be a good time for Scoot to get experience...
Scoot got the halftime interview on ESPN. They liked how the Blazers were playing and asked him why Portland's record is down with the bottom feeders. Scoot let the scavenging reporters know that a bunch of guys were out (injuries), and getting players back helps Portland win some games.

He is still the one that demanded the trade. The Blazers have to do what they feel is best for themselves, not how to appease Dame. There was no way we were going to become contenders anyway.

the Bucks have no 6th man sniper. Their bench turns into mush. Missing 2 energy guys Beauchamp and Jackson probably hurt them last night. Payne, Connaughton & Crowder played like poodoo.

If I was Doc, I'd try Middleton off the bench. There's just too many slow defensive guys on the court at the same time. The quicker Blazers won points in paint 56-46.

I think that's exactly how Dame felt...

But Joe had a responsibility to do what he thought was in the team's best interest. And I think he did what he could.

Agreed.
