Also a dumb question since different areas in the world have disparate qualifications on the definition of continent; ie., the USA teaches a 7 continent construct, certain European nations teach a 6 continent notion, and there are even 5 and 4 continent models taught.

Yeah there are those that don't include Antartica. And those that combine Aisa and certain European areas. I'm actually one of the few that have been to most. Never been to Antartica or Oceania.
