I personally am glad that more size is about to hit the free agency market!

Yall thought we had too many guards with the quad group of Dame Ant Scoot Sharpe.

Can't wait to hear what the board thinks when we use the MLE tomorrow on a short guard.

Makes sense, Blazers could use another short guard

Eric Gordon is useless. Work with Philly and Clippers to facilitate getting Ant to Philly and Nurk and Harden to LAC. POR gets ???

I was joking but I said:
Dame to 76ers and Harden walks next year? If you want pure cap savings and only picks then I guess this could be a consideration.

Harden to Houston for picks, Dame to 76ers, picks to Portland.

What picks? They have one, so it's just pick.

Rather trade him to Miami for Lowry and their 3 picks.

Listening to Jake on the BDL podcast, he's got absolutely nothing on Portland. Says they've been very quiet and want to thread this metaphorical needle of two timelines but upgrades seem tough to find.

Sounds about right. We got nothing.

I've never heard of a player opting in, and asking for a trade. Weird stuff.

The 76ers could just decide not to trade him, but they need to build a better team around Embiid. It could have just been a S&T though. This is interesting. May Harden figured he wouldn't get as much just signing elsewhere or in a sign and trade.

Sign and trade doesn't work if it's to a tax team though, such as the Clippers.

If Norman Powell nets LA Harden and we couldn't even get a 2nd, will people finally realize how horrible Cronin is?

Maybe Joe and Chauncey convinced Dame to see what they could do by running it back with the additions of Scoot and whoever they get with whatever MLE they use. In my opinion that wouldn't be the best move for Dame but it's his life and I would love to keep him. In my opinion having a ton of your best assets all in the back court is not smart at all.

Lol, Josh Hart or Kris Murray? I maintain that we could have kept Hart if we pushed hard enough to, and I think Hart impacts winning more than Simons.

It is what it is.
Yet we have a Joe Cronin appreciation thread.

Go figure.

If Hart stayed, would the Blazers tank? and if they don't tank, they don't get Scoot.

Scoot + KM or Hart + whoever was taken at the 9th pick?

Almost gives the appearance that the Blazers prefer Dame asks out and are trying to give him that opportunity.
