I don't believe we're going into next season with 3 rookies. Like....I just can't. Even if we trade Dame it's still a tough proposition.

maybe, why not? Think Ant + Murray for OG is pretty fair considering OG's FA next year.

Nurk + Nas for Ayton cuts a ton of salary for Phoenix.

but Cronin appears to be asleep at the wheel and unable to make any moves so who knows.
 
Hope GG Jackson is still there for us at 43, if not Trayce Jackson-Davis.

I think lots of team can beat our offer for OG, not even considering Masai's inflated view of OG's value.

I don't think this franchise has an appetite to pay Ayton 32M+ per year. Plus I think paying 100+M for Dame/Jerami/Ayton long term is probably not a smart decision. And when you consider some of the players they kicked around and ultimately decided against, I think that's what they would think as well.

Also for PHX, if all I could get back is Nurk and Nas, I probably just keep Ayton.

If we keep Dame, Scoot and Shaedon then trade Ant, we'll be keeping some of the best value on our roster.
 
Oh man, Spurs are going to win championships with Wemby sooner than we all think.

On top of being lengthy himself (meaning he'll be difficult to contain), Miller compliments Wemby tremendously with defense, shot creation, and a developing three ball.

That you have Sochan potentially at the 3 and Vassell at the 2....they just have to find a Maxey or Simons or Brunson caliber point guard. Develop a bench. Then, the league is toast once these players develop their skills.

A five year window just like with the Warriors after they drafted Klay and Curry and you'll see the Spurs do what the Warriors did these past 8+ years.

Blazers will still probably try and trade Ant and maybe Nurkic, but really they had their chance.

Future Farm Team of the NBA. Guys will get good, then leave for the bright lights. Players will go " Damn, they didn't do shit to put quality around Dame". " I'm gonna get the fuck outta here before that happens to me".

I would put higher odds on him physically breaking down before they win a chip.

Go look up guys who were his height. None of them played 30+ minutes except Yao, and he retired pretty young.

Yeah but all at guard. The imbalance that we've had in past that has held us back is only getting worse instead of better.
 
Dame is the best leader in sports...the captain of the ship..if you put guys on the floor who execute at a high level and give it all they got, he'll sleep well. Dame is built to teach and lead by example..just give him top shelf talent and we're good...we drafted some top shelf talent today...now go get Derozan for Ant and a backup big and call it a day..put Ed Davis on the end of the bench too...Derozan and Big Ed are close to Dame.

I don't buy it. We barely make the playoffs with Dame. The west is only getting tougher to compete in. It's going to take a handful years to come back from trading Dame. You don't luck into a franchise player like him very often.

Nothing earth shattering. I think Ant will get dealt for a center. I think Nurk will get dealt for... who even knows.
