I think the reason why rookies get pulled so easily is that teams know that the NBA season will be the most games they've ever played in a year, so they are essentially trying to mitigate the rookie wall. Shaedon has already played a whole season, so why not get the dude some run.
 
The thing I been impressed with is been the defense in these games. Yes it's the summer league but there moving there feet and continue keeping people in front of them. Plus closing out been really good.
 
I was trying to think of who Scoot reminds me of….. it’s Magic Johnson from the show Winning Time. I have no idea if that’s what Magic was really like but the personality is the same lol.

We started off kind of slow believe it or not and since then we have been absolutely crushing this Magic SL team on both ends. More of a slaughter to come I would assume because we don't know how many we have to win by to make the SL playoffs.

Yeah these young guys seem to really buy into Chauncey's frenetic defensive system and it's nice to see that paying off. I think that if we move Nurk, we will have the right type of personnel to run that type of D.
 
Scoot with simultaneously the worst and best in-game interview ever. Have to love the energy and attitude. You can tell he loves basketball. So positive. He's going to make everyone on the team better just because of how he approaches the game.

Badji quietly with a really, really good half. Great contesting, good screening, maintaining poise and composure with the ball. The biggest thing, though, was he threw two exceptional post passes. Unfortunately, we didn't finish either shot, but it looks like maybe he's comfortable now and starting to show what he can do.

I’ve said, all along, Ant is starting. Don’t know about anybody else in any other positions, but I do know that Ant will start.

Last game he was really really good. So I would chalk it up to getting used to a new system but I guess we'll wait and see. I really like the skills he's shown.
