At this point getting #1 this summer isn't even enough. Barring Sharpe having some kind of Kobesque ascension, they'll still suck ass next year too.

Game's broken. His instincts are non-existent. No real good sense of when to drive, when to shoot, when to pull up, how to balance the floor or get back on defense.

I just watch him and I'd feel better if he was a blank slate.
When you don't have a jumper it's always time to drive. Dude needs a jumper to play off of

And we probably aren't getting the #1 anyway

Did anyone create a new Blazers tank gif yet? :dunno: maybe paint the sides with something like "Capture the Flagg!!!"

Well, nice try Blazers. I’m please with the effort and all around improvement of the team. On a side note, I realized I am just not a Banton fan. I can’t stand watching the Blazers when he’s in the game.

i think all of the problems are stemming from his lack of a shot (both confidence and defenses sagging off him).

I think all his problems stem from not having played enough quality basketball and received good instruction and worked at his craft. BTW, that plays into the lack of confidence, too.

Part of the reason his shot is bad is his decision-making. He just has such a poor feel for the game, for the flow. Comes in tonight and first thing he does is drive for a tough, contested reverse layup. Didn't even give himself a chance to run up and down the floor a couple of times.

I'm not going to beat a dead horse. I just see a guy that never learned to play, for whatever reason, and I think he's so far away that he's not a rotational player on a playoff team on his first contract. I've seen a lot of guys who didn't have a good shot who learned to play around it, but those were guys who had really high basketball IQs and Scoot doesn't have that and just looks lost.

Chauncey said opening night was like the first day of school....welp....he got schooled

Was at the game tonight.

Scoot... whatever spot we're drafting at this next year, if the BPA is a point guard, take them.
Clingan... tough, but big and slow. Looked really slow out there. But he's tough. Hopefully he's Prybilla with a 3pt shot.
Deni... he'll be a great Alfred if we ever find a Batman and Robin.

Stotts has to be chuckling on the flight home tonight.

Scoot hasn't done himself any favors this off season and early early EARLY start to the season, that's for sure.

Weird crowd. 300 level was quiet. GPII was talking shit to Ant. Pissed me off, no one else seem to care. Fuck GPII.

What an embarrassment
It wouldn't be so embarrassing if we just had a bunch of young guys... But it looks like we're starting to actually try to field a team... For some stupid reason...

And then later in the season when we sit the vets with fake injuries... Absolutely embarrassing.

Just trade them for what you can get.

I don't even know how good the Warriors are after that beat down. I just know that we're really really bad... but I did already know that going into the game.

Regardless of talent level they're one of the most well oiled teams in the nba. Stotts is a good get. Glad I got to give him a standing O.

The shining hope for this team is out with a torn shoulder. Really sucks for Sharpe to miss two years in a row from injury. If there's a star on the team that kid is going to be it in my view.

What effort?

Sharpe rarely being available is probably the main reason people have hope he can be a superstar. Which is ironic if you think about it.
