Paul Allen never sold 3 second round picks - he'd go out and buy them.
 
Is it possible this team has quit on the coach already. Ant looks totally disinterested and only concerned about hoisting up his three point shots
 
This is why I said not to get your hackles up when we win. The Griz are missing some key players and we got run off the floor from the tip.

We're going to be in the top four at the lottery even if we steal a win here or there. And the law of averages say we will.

But the Blazers don't have enough consistent shooting to stay with anyone halfway decent and we don't defend the 3-point arc. If we aren't giving up 3s, we close out to recklessly and get pumped faked into the fifth row while they're driving to the hoop.

Like the effort from Ayton tonight, though. I know he gets a lot of criticism, but if he just put that kind of effort on the floor at practice and every game, I'd be happy.
 
How are we getting our asses handed to us by a quarter of a team?

Also, remind me...who was the owner when they traded 2 1st round picks for Zach Collins?

Or drafted Caleb Swanigan? Or signed Evan Turner to a gawdawful contract? or Allen Crabbe?

I certainly liked the effort in the last few minutes. When he outbattled Edey for that rebound, that was kind of cool.
 
Could be worse I guess two super stars and the Bucks are 2-8. There is a melt down coming soon In Wisconsin
 
Our schedule is pretty brutal the next 10 games. Starts with Minnesota twice which my only question is how much we will lose by. Only decent team is Atlanta. So that gets us to a 4-17 record.

Might help our draft position.

Might mean we're stuck with this big3 of Grant Ayton Simons all year though, doubt other teams want to cough up value for them.

Ha, today is Scottie Pippen Jr's birthday and he was born in Portland.
 
Simons should be riding the pine and traded. Playing him is making it harder to trade him.

Neat useless stat, in tonight's game, there are two sons of NBA players who are in the game, both born in Portland.

And iirc, there are 3 in the league right now.
