First half they fight but then come out in the 2nd half and it's like -- embrace sucking and the Tank and do not even try by Billups and some players.
 
Scoot is holding his own out there. Both ends of the floor. He could well become a triple double type player. Getting double doubles in points and assists will be his calling card
 
Holding on to Ant is doing nobody any favors. He has talent and can score. He clearly is probably sick and tired of being on a tanking team. cant says I blame him.
 
Garbagio time, but only Blazers playing like garbage.
 
capture the Flagg. He has been looking great at Duke. Never mind the fact that he looks like he's 12...the career that guy will have. skys the limit
 
How sad it must be for @AldoTrapani to have Scoot turn the corner like this. Scoot with 21 points on 16 shots and 11 assists with onyl 4 turnovers tonight. He was our bext player and Aldo didn't post shit because he's painted himself into a corner by rooting against one of our guys. Fucking lame.

Dude can you even enjoy the fact that he's been playing so well lately???
 
Scoot was pretty good but he has to clean up the turn over a couple of them were when he forced things when he should not have
 
Scoot has had 2 good games out of 3, and the 3rd game wasn't bad. Still a terribly small sample size but it's encouraging

Simons 8-34 on FG's the last 3 games (23.5%)

Out of our best players Ant, Shaedon and Jerami all look really off as far as how aggressive they're trying to score. Jerami with only 7 attempts, Ant with 13 and Shaedon with 14... that's not enough for any of those guys to get in a flow. It's all Joe's fault. Now, no one knows the pecking order.

The good news is that Jerami and Ant have shown multiple times this season that they're still able to score a ton of points in a game when they need to. This team is just shit right now and however he does it, Joe needs to fix this roster. It's his job to get some value for Jerami and Ant because he gave those guys those contracts and those guys are both still very capable of helping contenders win. I think the Lakers, Cavs and Kings make sense for Jeramie. For Ant I don't have as good of a read because I'm personally just stuck on how well he fits on Orlando but teams like the Nuggets need shot makers too.

We'll see what happens but these guys all look awkward and for me it's 100% because of roster composition.
 
if Scoot continues his latest trajectory toward being the starting PG, there is even more reason to dump Simons. Unless of course the Blazers want to go back to yet another year, next season, of an undersized no-defense SG.
 
Listening to this post game and our broadcast team is talking about how getting the Bulls right now is a good thing. I disagree. Getting the Bulls (who are just a better team than we are) when they've lost 4 straight is terrible... as far as the potential to win. The Bulls on a 4 game losing streak will not let us be a trap game. They're going to try to stomp us into the ground.

I'm hoping for a competitive loss, maybe without Ant, Jerami, Deandre or Rob because Joe will have traded them tonight or tomorrow before the game.

Doesn’t seem to show up if/when Scoot has a legit game. All season we’ve been saying, just give him PT and he’ll gradually get better. Seems to be panning out. I want him on the court 35 minutes a game the rest of the season

If Joe can move Ant and the return only includes someone who makes sense playing behind Scoot then that might make it more realistic for Scoot to be getting that many minutes. I want Shaedon getting that many minutes too.

I mean there are 96 minutes at the guard spot so technically Ant could stay and all three could get around 32 but I just think Ant (and Jerami too) belong on teams where they're contributing as 4th, 5th or 6th best players to wins now and in the playoffs. Having them here seems to, especially with Shaedon, cloud the pecking order of who should be getting the most usage on offense and with Ant it makes things a lot harder for both Shaedon and Scoot when they're playing with Ant on defense.

Really happy to see Scoot doing well. I've also been encouraged by some of Shaedon's play it's just up and down and I expect that Scoot is on an up right now and will likely have a lot of downs going forward. I just want those two to be free to work through there mistakes and really grow into the star potential both guys have.

But why are you limiting yourself to a small sample? What about how he played when Ant/Ayton were injured earlier in the season? Or the stretch he had when Billups was out? Then there’s the game winner too. Lots of flashes this year.
