Here we go again. We “SHOULD” this and that. Really? How many times is it going to take to realize what’s up with our team? Every time with this?

We should be competitive in this game and that probably puts us at a little better than a 50% chance of netting us a win.

The fact is this last game against the Magic was very very indicative of where our team is. We're about on the same level as the Magic. We lost the game on a buzzer beater but we were in it.

We aren't contenders so no game is a given but there are games like this one against NOLA without Zion that we have a better than coin flip chance of winning.

So us losing wouldn't be a big deal but us winning won't either.

If the team can't hit the broadside of the barn of the 50+ threes they shoot....or if, as *Danny Marang and Chad Doing suggest it does*, their defense doesn't follow them to New Orleans (now that is trolling), this will probably be an ugly game.

Hopefully Sharpe is able to build off his last game. Seems like he starting to put some decent games together.

Until we get some of our depth back I expect all games to be close. Really want to see some Scoot news soon

We're running on the fumes of the good vibes of beating OKC but a loss here would kill them. People are already trashing Clinton, but a loss here and I think Toumani will be next in the crosshairs

Its not even 20 games. People trashing on players should be laughed at.

Damn, Bill just can't catch a break.

He's not lying. It's a shame, because the city isn't a bad city, just not historically a supportive NBA fan base.

They'll never leave there though, it would look bad for the PR of the league.

They said reevaluate in 4-8 weeks. The 8 weeks has passed. Has the eval happened? If so, what was the result?
An update should happen.

I believe it was 4-10 weeks to get back into the start of getting ready, not that the'd be ready in 4-8 weeks.

Dude tore his hammie, it doesn't heal over night or quickly. If they haven't updated us, its because there's nothing to update.

yeah. I seem to recall reading somewhere it was a grade 2 tear

typical recovery is listed as 4-8 weeks so the Blazers gave the boiler-plate timetable. At this point I think we can assume it was a more serious grade 2 than less serious. And that 4-8 weeks was the timetable to a re-evaluation. In other words, he could be back by the end of November. And it might be the middle of January

It's been 7

Scoot Henderson is expected to miss 4 to 8 weeksfrom when his injury was announced on September 26, 2025, after suffering a torn left hamstring. He is currently undergoing rehabilitation and is out for the game against the Orlando Magic on November 9, 2025.

  • Injury: Torn left hamstring, sustained during an offseason workout.

  • Timeline: Expected to be out for 4 to 8 weeks for basketball activities, with his return depending on his rehabilitation progress.

  • Current Status: He is still sidelined as of November 9, 2025, and will miss the game against the Orlando Magic.

So correct. We are in the 7th week. Thight i recalled us(the forum) discussing it was almost 8 weeks a week or so ago. Either way though we are right up on the cusp. An update would be nice and there is something to update.
Is he on par with predicted progress? Is he behind? ahead? What is the latest prognostication?

There is absolutely something to report, even if the report is, “nothing has changed, he is on track”.

And this is why an update should be released.

If you listen to anyone talking about it, they've basically said the team has hinted that it was closer to the 10 week than it was to 8 weeks.
And even if it was only 8 weeks, that's just 8 week before he can return to even basketball activities, which just means he'd get back to being on the basketball court. It's not like he'd go from 0-8 weeks to back to playing basketball in a day or two.

Has Scoot been down for 8 weeks yet?
It was announced September 26th that he would be out 4-8 weeks. On Friday it will have been seven weeks. So if 8 weeks is some magic number then it'll be the Friday of next week Novenber 21st.

I always thought 4-8 weeks for a hamstring TEAR sounded like an unrealistically short turnaround even at that 8 week mark. Honestly I'm really excited to see Scoot play with this roster but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we don't rush his return at all and see a recurrence of the injury.

Yep, same here. Rushing him back is the worst thing they can do.

When it happened, and i have not heard anything, I didn’t plan on seeing him until January. When somebody tears their hammy and they aren’t even going to re evaluate him for 8 weeks…..I wouldn’t expect him anytime soon at all.

Shit, isn’t DeAron Fox dealing with this? From LAST SPRING and he JUST made his return.

As far as the team needing to release an update, they don’t need to do anything. Just plan on a long rehab. Once again it falls back to expectations and wants.
