Splitter already has a better overall record with the Blazers than Chauncey ever did as a Blazer coach.

So now we've played a really competitive game against last season's runner up in the Western Conference and beaten the Warriors, even if it was on an OT back to back.

I don't know how many games we'll win, I predicted 41, but I know the games will for the first time in a few seasons be competitive and fun.

The only "negative" about the game is Shaedons shooting, and he being the only one of the players who played meaningful minutes, to not be a + on the +-

Eight players in double figures and ten steals! Obviously Deni and Camara were stars but Grant and Matisse were both huge off the bench, +19 and +22 respectively. This team will top the NBA’s most entertaining teams by Christmas.

Defense atones for many sins and this team will end up being the top ranked defensive team this year.

Kris Murray! Holy shit! Dude has decided to be defensive freak

Sharpe will be much better than he’s shown. I think if anybody is effected by the Billups shit it might be him.

Thybulle! Please stay healthy because you might be the best contributor of 15 minutes in the NBA.

Grant seems like he loves the 6th man role which is awesome

It's definitely a promising start. Especially when you consider that Shaedon is still struggling to find rhythm, Scoot is out AND they just had their coach get arrested and paraded in front of national TV.

Probably the most positive I've felt about the team going forward in shit, a decade +?

Yeah, this team is really fun to watch. Even in the first game, when they lost. They play with a lot of intensity.
How about those forwards?
Camara: 7-13

Deni: 11-18
Murray: 6-7

Yeah he floated around a bit. I hope he puts a few good games together with Jrue because he’s quickly slipping to third option.

Seems like they are moving and picking up the pace a bit. Sure helps playing tenacious defense.

Agree on Thybulle. His impact on the game was immediate in the 3rd quarter. In that stretch, I want to say that he, Murray, and Tou got their hands on several passes in a row.

The pace depends on respect from the refs, but they seem to be respecting our defense pretty well overall.

That reversal on the 3 pt shot by Grant still pisses me off. Steph is way worse when it comes to kicking his legs out. The fact that it was reversed makes it worse in my mind. Hell, the refs on the court even saw it correctly.
