Trump was asked about ACA subsidies. He had no idea what they were. So he began talking about Biden let 25 million undocumented immigrants into the country.
They've always used Veterans and active military members as pawns and talking points. They're no better than Trump who has little respect for people who go into the military (unless he can benefit from praising them).
The pathetic thing is, the DNC will cower to the RNC, and somehow make it so they'll agree to not let Grijalva get sworn in, and everyone will forget about it once their checks start coming again.
No Grijalva will have to be sworn in eventually. Republicans just biding their time. I don't think they will give in. They along with the Trump administration would be glad to screw over the American people just to spite the Dems.
When have the DNC ever shown they have conviction, or a spine in the last 20 years?
It takes some stones to run a black man, black woman and another woman for president...I call that conviction. Also the ACA under Obama and healthcare in general as well as civil rights legislation has been primarily a democratic or in Bernie's case independent platform. Public safety and social services wouldn't exist in our country without the democratic branch unfortunately....the alternative is a disaster so far. I'm talking over the last 20 years. Any semblance of reason has clearly abandoned the GOP.When have the DNC ever shown they have conviction, or a spine in the last 20 years?
I think the midterms will surprise folks. Newsome has taken the gloves off and turned Trump's playbook against him...I think that's a huge difference from Chuck Schumer mumbling over his Barbeque grillThe DNC needs new leadership. It needs to reinvent itself. It needs to be loud. It needs to echo the chagrin and the fury of the American people. It's platform needs to come back to the kitchen table and be about and for the people. But, all I see is a very awkward silence there and an unwillingness or reluctance to meet the moment. The people are weary. Lift us up. But, no....

The Republicans may be forced to give in eventually with the subsidies for health care ending in three weeks or so, but they seem more than willing to let it happen, and just blame it on the Dems because they don't want to concede anything to them.
Though, the Republicans could give in, but make it look like they aren't by claiming the Dems are holding the American people hostage, and then go ahead and agree on re-upping the subsidies to claim they are saving the people to be the heroes.
We will see. Dems have been winning special elections, some in difficult places. We need more Dems to take their gloves off. The party needs to get loud.
Chucky Schumer needs to retire, like 8 years ago. We need fresh blood in the party. We need the next generation of vigorous, impassioned candidates, that stand up and call shit out for what it is and run on and for the people. The Democratic party needs hope and right now it's mostly crickets.
Imagine withholding military funds because you want to protect pedophiles.
If they had nothing to hide, they'd of sworn them in.
Or the other 19 times they had a chance to
Glad im morally better than anyone who supports trump.
I hate all the old heads in both parties. Really should be age limits (retirement age at best) for politicians.
