Getting in the mode of trying to win games 1-0 is a dangerous razor's edge to be on. I mean ten minutes to go in the third and 14 shots on goal. You can't win like that ever.
 
Lmao. Biggest PP of the game, let's make sure Stepan takes the faceoff.

Fans really should throw garbage on the ice during the last minute of the game.
Arneil should have been fired last year for this abortion of a PP. Instead because he's an AV guy he gets to keep his job. It's a joke. If AV won't fire Arneil then he can take Arneil with him to the peewee league where Arneil belongs
 
Maybe there was some hangover from that loss. Maybe this will be some sort of wakeup call.
 
Again these fuckign losers are trying to score a pretty goal. All 18000 should get up and leave to show them off.
 
This game is unwatchable. Way to come out wanting to take a lead on the series. I don't mind losing a hard fought game but Hank appears to be the only one who cares
 
I'm mean, seriously. Where the hell is the creativity on the PP entry? If Montreal is going to line up all 4 at the blue line then you dump on one board while having another player going full speed into the corner on the other side and get the puck. Not that difficult to understand, unless you're Arneil.
 
Really not much to say. That may be the easiest shutout in playoff history. Well this one or one of Bishop's against us. Quite frankly it is embarrassing. I don't see how you can view it any other way.

0-6 outscored 21-3 in our last 6 home playoff games. Shutout 3 or 4 times.

It did. But he could win with that many shots lol. You said "can't win like that ever." In a Torts system you can most certainly win like that because the other team is only getting 12 shots too. With AV, it's impossible because his teams don't play defense.

I'm mean, can we please be serious for a moment here. AV's system is cute and fun to watch, but once teams take away the stretch pass and you have to work to earn a goal it fails miserably. It's why with all those super talented Canucks teams he never won anything. He's a great offensive mind, but should never be a head coach as he can't come up with a COMPLETE game plan. He doesn't have a clue what to do in the defensive zone other than simply thinking try to score more goals to offset goals given up. I'm sorry, but AV is not a complete coach. He's decent, but by no means is he a great coach. He's great for a team looking to sell tickets and score goals, but for a team wanting to win a Cup, he's worthless.
 
On home ice you need to come out buzzing from the drop of the puck. Amazingly they can't manage that at MSG and it makes no sense. What's so different on the road?
 
Missing nets and passionless play...not a good mix.

Game 2 was our shot it appears. Cannot get too upset with a BS effort like this tonight we don't deserve sh*t, but that was our chance.

I think we are done. May not even go 6, and this summer it is time for more changes. Time for some people to go. I like what Gorton did last summer, now it is time for more moves. These guys who no show in the playoffs need to be shipped out. Cannot have it anymore.

This was a pathetic "effort" tonight and it should not be tolerated. This is the exact same game as the past 5 home playoff games...EXACT SAME. Enough is enough now.
 
Why on earth would ANYONE buy super expensive playoff tickets to watch this team chase the puck for 2.5 hours
 
Pens are going to win the damn cup again too.

I thought winner tonight wins the series but could never have guessed that the Rangers would treat this game as a preseason game in Sept

I didn't think we would get a carry over from the third period of game two. It doesn't make sense coming out like this on home ice.
 
Fuming right now watching this effort. Zuccarello and is the only top 9 guy who even showed up tonight. The entire team owes Henrik an apology. Abysmal game on almost every level other than goaltending.

Hard to keep it in perspective given the pattern at home lately but there's another game on Tuesday. If they find a way to win that one, it's a three game series with 2 on the road. Let's see how they come out on Tuesday.
 
I wish I had that answer 717...we all wish we had that answer. I simply don't get it. But it is a major issue. Step back and be real here, this is the exact same game as the TB and Pens games. I just said it, but it is identical.

And I don't want to hear Joe say this game Habs so good, BS, this is our thing at home now. Did Price make more than 2 or 3 medium level saves all game?
 
Honestly, why the FUCK is AV pulling Hank down 3 when this team has shown NO life? I guess he wants to see how many more goals Montreal can score.
 
It does not matter who they are going to bring in. It starts with that idiot behind the bench. How many times can this be said. This system sucks ass. It has run its course.
