The classification given, as translated to the English language, was sub-machine gun. Hitler didn't think that was fearsome enough and instructed the designers to call it an "Assault Rifle" as translated to our language.

In the tragedy we have seen in Las Vegas much is to be considered for public safety. Firearms are very low on the list. Consider the bus attack in France... 77 killed in seconds. Passenger planes taken down with hundreds on board. All this pales when you consider the multitude of force-ably unarmed people killed by their own governments as in:

Hitler's Socialist Nazi Germany - +/- 22 million
Stalin's Marxist Soviet Union - +/- 65 million
Mao Zedong's Marxist China - +/- 75 million

Everyone of these democides were committed by governments who insisted there populace would be much better served by surrendering arms... in other words "gun control"!!!

So... you tell me, what is the greatest potential threat to our people of the USA. Is it an evil person with a firearm, or a Liberal Progressive Government (aka; Socialist Marxist, Communist Marxist) whose largest focus is total government control and the disarming of our resident population.

Murder is illegal. Didnt stop him. So a bump stock being illegal is going to stop him? You cant control everyone. I know it's the liberal wet dream to completely control everyone and make them think exactly like you. But it's not going to happen. It would do wonders for your blood pressure to just accept that there are crazy people out there. If you are afraid of someone shooting you, congratulations, you live in america where you are free to carry a gun for protection. And i encourage everyone to exercise their rights.

Obama sure didn't take your guns so folks just need to stop. As a matter of fact you could take your firearm to more places under Obama than Bush.
The brady bill expired in 2004. No one has taken your guns...

I get it. But what could you have done, short of confiscation, to stop Vegas from happening?

He had no criminal record.

He was wealthy.

He had a shit ton of guns, so it's not like he walked out and bought the gun that day. No waiting period would have stopped him.

How would "common sense gun control" have stopped this from happening?

Actually im not too thrilled with war or capital punishment. Im fine with everyone having health care too as long as its not paid for by me.
 
When are we going to get to the point where we as a civilization ABHOR killing each other....? I feel like I was born in the wrong century with all this racism and killing.

Call me a dreamer but I'm not the only one.

No one should own a bump stock. Regardless. No one human should posses that much killing power. It's legal to buy but illegal to own and use? Stu-pid... It's not a fucking radar detector...

Here's the thing... it's better now than it was 50 years ago. Things are getting better. I feel like the internet has made us feel like the world is horrible, but things are getting better. It might not seem like it, but gun deaths are declining. They have been declining for a while. We're working on issues. Gay people can get married. Women are kicking ass in the workplace. We had a black President. Things aren't perfect, and I don't think they'll ever be perfect, but they're getting better.

And is there hatred in the world? Yes. Is there death and killing? Yes. But I think it's a good thing that we are seeing all these racists and Nazis because they still exist. We now KNOW that they still exist. They're not hiding in the shadows. They're out there and we can see them. And it's making us talk about it. I think it's unifying people against these haters.

Are we talking about adjustable stocks or some magical stock that allows a gun to shoot faster then a finger? No matter what pysics are involved the trigger still has to reset and a new round has to chamber. You should welcome an altered gun firing at that rate. It's more likely to melt

Melting doesn't really matter if the dude has 10 guns just sitting there, loaded, ready to fire.
 
Hoping to be born in a time without killing is.... well.... highly unlikely. We'll probably snuff ourselves out before that ever happens.

You act like this matters. Again, no human should be able to wield that much power. One human should not be able to shoot 550 people. I could GAF less if you have to reset a new round. That means nothing to me.
